Sri Vasistha said: Then, the one who was eager to fight, with his horses and elephants, danced like a madman in the ocean of battle.
श्री वसिष्ठ ने कहा: फिर, जो युद्ध के लिए उत्सुक था, उसके घोड़े और हाथी के साथ, वह युद्ध के समुद्र में पागलों की तरह नाचा।

With the umbrella and the mace resting, the white elephants with raised trunks, the army of horses surging like waves, the battlefield was tumultuous.
छत्र और गदा विश्राम कर रहे थे, सफेद हाथी सूँड़ उठाए हुए थे, घोड़ों की सेना लहरों की तरह उछल रही थी, युद्धभूमि अशांत थी।

The army, equipped with various weapons and strategies, moved in different formations. The elephants, intoxicated, moved their platforms, causing the earth to shake.
विभिन्न हथियारों और रणनीतियों से सुसज्जित सेना, विभिन्न गतिविधियों में चल रही थी। मतवाले हाथी अपने मंचों को हिला रहे थे, जिससे धरती हिल रही थी।

The wheels of the chariots spun rapidly, causing the heads to spin with confusion. The dust and water droplets made the sword's glow flicker.
रथों के पहिये तेजी से घूम रहे थे, जिससे सिर भ्रम में थे। धूल और पानी की बूँदें तलवार की चमक को झिलमिला रही थीं।

The Makara formation was spread out, with broken and scattered warriors. The great whirlpool of battle was blocked, and the valley was filled with noise.
मकर व्यूह फैला हुआ था, टूटे और बिखरे हुए योद्धाओं के साथ। युद्ध का बड़ा भँवर अवरुद्ध था, और घाटी शोर से भरी हुई थी।

सेना, मछली व्यूह से निकलकर, सरसों के बीजों की तरह बाणों की वर्षा कर रही थी, झंडे फटे हुए और ध्वज बिखरे हुए थे।

The army, with weapons creating a whirlpool like a water-made cloud, moved with great force, causing immense fear.
सेना, हथियारों से पानी के बादल की तरह भँवर बनाकर, बड़े बल से आगे बढ़ी, जिससे बड़ा भय पैदा हुआ।

The army, adorned with black iron armor, appeared terrifying like a dark cloud, with ornaments bound within the circular patterns of the armor.
सेना, काले लोहे के कवच से सजी, एक काले बादल की तरह भयानक दिखाई देती थी, कवच के गोल नमूनों के अंदर बंधे आभूषणों के साथ।

The dense darkness created by the arrows resembled a cloud of fog, and the resounding noise absorbed all other sounds, creating a single, dense hum.
बाणों से उत्पन्न घनी अंधेरा कुहरे के बादल की तरह लगता था, और गूंजती आवाज ने सभी अन्य आवाजों को सोख लिया, एक घने गुंजाइश को बनाते हुए।

The warriors, adorned with various weapons and ornaments, were ready to fight, causing fear in the hearts of their enemies.
वीरों के शरीर पर विभिन्न अस्त्र-शस्त्र और आभूषणों से सजे हुए थे और वे युद्ध के लिए तैयार थे, जिससे शत्रुओं के मन में भय पैदा हो गया था।
गमागमपरानन्तपताकाच्छत्रप्रेणिलःवहद्रक्तनदीरंहःप्रोह्यमानरथद्रुमः || १२ ||

The flags and banners were fluttering in the wind, and the chariots were moving swiftly, causing a great commotion.
ध्वज और पताकाएँ हवा में लहरा रही थीं, और रथ तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहे थे, जिससे बहुत हलचल हो गई थी।
गजप्रतिमसंपन्नमहारुधिरबुद्बुदःसैन्यप्रवाहविचलद्धयहस्तिजलेचरः || १३ ||

The elephants, adorned with various ornaments, were moving swiftly, causing a great commotion and splashing water.
हाथी, विभिन्न आभूषणों से सजे हुए, तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहे थे, जिससे बहुत हलचल हो गई थी और पानी उछाला जा रहा था।
ससंग्रामोऽम्बरग्राम इवाश्चर्यकरो नृणामभूत्प्रलयभूकम्पकम्पिताचलचञ्चलः || १४ ||
sasaṃgrāmo'mbaragrāma ivāścaryakaro nṛṇāmabhūtpralayabhūkampakampitācalacañcalaḥ || 14 ||
The battlefield appeared like a sky full of clouds, causing wonder among the people, and the earth shook as if it were the end of the world.
युद्धक्षेत्र ऐसा लग रहा था जैसे आकाश में बादल छाए हुए हैं, जिससे लोगों के मन में आश्चर्य पैदा हो गया था, और पृथ्वी ऐसे काँप रही थी जैसे प्रलय आ गया हो।
तरत्तरङ्गविहगः पतत्करिघटातटःत्रस्तभीरुमृगानीकस्कूर्जद्धुरुघुरारवः || १५ ||
tarattaraṅgavihagaḥ patatkarighaṭātaṭaḥtrastabhīrumṛgānīkaskūrjaddhurughurāravaḥ || 15 ||
The birds were flying in the sky, the monkeys were jumping from tree to tree, and the frightened deer were making loud noises.
पक्षी आकाश में उड़ रहे थे, बंदर पेड़ों से पेड़ पर कूद रहे थे, और भयभीत हिरण जोर से आवाज कर रहे थे।

saraccharālīśalabhaśatabhaṅgurasainikaḥtarattaraṅgaśarabhaḥ śarabhāravanāvaniḥ || 16 ||
The army, resembling a swarm of bees, was shattered by the arrows. The waves of the battlefield were terrifying, and the forest of arrows was dense.
सेना, मधुमक्खी के झुंड की तरह, बाणों से चूर-चूर हो गई। युद्धभूमि की लहरें भयानक थीं, और बाणों का जंगल घना था।
चलद्द्विरेफनिर्ह्रादो रसत्तूर्यगुहागुरुःचिरात्स सैन्यजलदो लुटद्भटमृगाधिपः || १७ ||
caladdvirephanirhrādo rasattūryaguhāguruḥcirātsa sainyajalado luṭhadbhaṭamṛgādhipaḥ || 17 ||
The sound of the moving elephants was deafening, and the music from the caves was deep. For a long time, the army was like a cloud, and the leader of the warriors was like a lion.
चलते हाथियों की आवाज कानों को फोड़ देने वाली थी, और गुफाओं से आती संगीत गहरी थी। लंबे समय तक, सेना बादल की तरह थी, और योद्धाओं का नेता शेर की तरह था।
प्रसरद्धूलिजलदो विगलत्सैन्यसानुमान्पतद्रथवराढ्याङ्गः प्रतपत्खङ्गमण्डलः || १८ ||
prasaraddhūlijalado vigalatsainyasānumānpatadrathavarāḍhyāṅgaḥ pratapatkhaṅgamaṇḍalaḥ || 18 ||
The dust cloud spread like a storm, and the army's pride was shattered. The chariot's parts fell, and the wheel's radiance shone.
धूल का बादल तूफान की तरह फैल गया, और सेना का अभिमान चूर-चूर हो गया। रथ के अंग गिर गए, और पहिये की चमक दमक रही थी।
प्रोत्पतत्पदपुष्पौघः पताकाच्छत्रवारिदःवहद्रक्तनदीपूरपतत्साराववारणः || १९ ||
protpatatpadapuṣpaughaḥ patākācchatravāridaḥvahadraktanadīpūrapatatsārāvavāraṇaḥ || 19 ||
The shower of flowers from the feet was falling, and the banners and umbrellas were like clouds. The river of blood was flowing, and the arrows were falling like rain.
पैरों से फूलों की वर्षा गिर रही थी, और झंडे और छत्र बादलों की तरह थे। खून की नदी बह रही थी, और बाण बरसात की तरह गिर रहे थे।
सोऽभूत्समरकल्पान्तो जगत्कवलनाकुलःपर्यस्तसद्ध्वजच्छत्रपताकारथपत्तनः || २० ||
so'bhūtsamarakalpānto jagatkavalanākulaḥparyastasadhvajacchatrapatākārathapattanaḥ || 20 ||
He became the end of the battle, and the world was agitated. The banners, umbrellas, flags, chariots, and soldiers were scattered.
वह युद्ध का अंत बन गया, और संसार व्याकुल हो गया। झंडे, छत्र, ध्वज, रथ, और सैनिक बिखर गए।
पतद्विमलहेत्यौघभूरिभास्वरभास्करःकठिनप्राणसंतापतापिताखिलमानसः || २१ ||
patadvimalahetyaughabhūribhāsvarabhāskaraḥkaṭhinaprāṇasaṃtāpatāpitākhilamānasaḥ || 21 ||
The sun, with its intense rays, scorches all beings, causing great suffering and distress to all hearts.
सूर्य की तीव्र किरणें सभी प्राणियों को जलाती हैं, जिससे सभी हृदयों में बड़ा दुःख और पीड़ा होती है।
कोदण्डपुष्करावर्तशरधारानिरन्तरःवहत्खंगशिलालेखाविद्युद्वलयिताम्बरः || २२ ||
kodaṇḍapuṣkarāvartaśaradhārānirantaraḥvahatkhaṃgaśilālekhāvidyudvalayitāmbaraḥ || 22 ||
The sky is adorned with continuous streams of arrows, and the clouds are marked with lightning, resembling the lines on a sword.
आकाश बाणों की लगातार धाराओं से सजा हुआ है, और बादल बिजली की लकीरों से चिह्नित हैं, जो तलवार पर लकीरों की तरह दिखती हैं।

The mountains are shattered and fall into the blood-red ocean, and the sky is filled with falling stars.
पर्वत टूटकर लाल समुद्र में गिरते हैं, और आकाश गिरते हुए तारों से भरा हुआ है।
चक्रकुल्याम्बुदावर्तपूर्णव्योमशिराम्बुदःअस्त्रकल्पाग्निनिर्दग्धसैन्यलोकान्तरक्रमः || २४ ||

The sky is filled with whirling clouds resembling chariot wheels, and the army is destroyed by the fire of weapons, moving through the world.
आकाश रथ के पहियों की तरह घूमते बादलों से भरा हुआ है, और हथियारों की आग से सेना नष्ट हो गई है, जो दुनिया में चल रही है।

The earth is covered with a shower of weapons and thunderbolts, and the king of elephants, resembling a mountain, falls, crushing the people.
धरती हथियारों और बिजली की वर्षा से ढकी हुई है, और हाथी का राजा, जो एक पर्वत की तरह दिखता है, गिरकर लोगों को कुचलता है।

The earth, covered by the clouds of the great army, resembled the ocean, agitated by the clashing of the armies.
पृथ्वी, महान सेना के बादलों से ढकी हुई, सेनाओं के टकराने से उत्पन्न समुद्र की तरह लग रही थी।
व्याप्त उग्रानिलोद्भूतैर्जलव्यालैरिवाचलःअन्योन्यदलनव्यग्रैः शस्त्रोत्पात इवोत्थितैः || २७ ||
vyāpta ugrānilodbhūtairjalavyālairivācalaḥanyonyadalanavyagraiḥ śastrotpāta ivotthitaiḥ || 27 ||
The mountain, filled with fierce winds and water serpents, seemed to rise like weapons ready to strike each other.
पर्वत, तेज हवाओं और जल सर्पों से भरा हुआ, एक-दूसरे पर प्रहार करने के लिए तैयार हथियारों की तरह उठा हुआ लग रहा था।

śūlāsicakraśaraśaktigadābhuśuṇḍīprāsādayo vidalanena mitho dhvanantaḥdīptā adhurdaśadiśaḥ śataśo bhramantaḥ kalpāntavātaparivṛttapadārthalīlām || 28 ||
The spears, swords, discs, arrows, clubs, maces, and other weapons clashed with each other, making a loud noise, and shone brightly in all directions, moving swiftly like the wind at the end of the world.
भाले, तलवारें, चक्र, तीर, गदाएँ, मूसल, और अन्य हथियार एक-दूसरे से टकरा रहे थे, जोरदार शोर कर रहे थे, और सभी दिशाओं में चमक रहे थे, प्रलय की हवा की तरह तेजी से घूम रहे थे।
