mukure'ntaryathā bimbaṃ na dṛṣṭamapi kiṃcana | tathā cidvyomagaṃ viśvaṃ na dṛṣṭamapi kiṃcana || 45 ||

English

Just as nothing is seen inside the mirror except the reflection | Similarly, nothing is seen in the sky of consciousness except the world

labhyate yadvicāreṇa yatsakāraṇakaṃ sthitamtatsaccheṣaṃ tu bhāmātramabhūtaṃ satkathaṃ bhavet || 46 ||

English

That which is obtained through reasoning and is dependent on a cause, that is merely an appearance and not real. How can it be considered real?

bhavedbhramātmakamapi kiṃcidarthakriyākaramsvapnāṅganāpi kurute satyāmarthakriyāṃ nṛṇām || 47 ||

English

Even an illusion can perform some meaningful action, just as a dream can perform real actions for people.

yattadbhānaṃ tu sā cidbhā paramaṃ taccidambaramiti kvāhaṃ kva viśvaśrīḥ kva tvaṃ dṛśyadṛśaśca kāḥ || 48 ||

English

That appearance is the supreme consciousness (cidbhā), and that is the space of consciousness (cidambaram). Where am I? Where is the world? Where are you, the seer and the seen?

English

After death, is there rebirth or is it destroyed? If there is no rebirth after death, still there is peace. If there is liberation according to the vision of knowledge, then there is no suffering for the enlightened one.

mūrkhasya yādṛśamidaṃ tu tadajña eva jānātyasau na hi vayaṃ kila tatra tajjñāḥmatsyo hi yo mṛganadīsalile sa eva jānāti taccapalavīcivivartanāni || 50 ||

English

Only a fool knows the nature of foolishness. We are not experts in that. Just as a fish in a river knows the fluctuations of the water, so does the fool know foolishness.

antarbahistvamahamityapi caivamādi sarvātmakaṃ tapati cinnabha ekamevaśākhāśikhāviṭapapatraphalaikadehaḥ saṃkalpavṛkṣa iva bodhakhamātrasāraḥ || 51 ||

English

I am the inner and outer self, and thus, everything is permeated with the self. The self shines as pure consciousness, like a wish-fulfilling tree with its branches, leaves, and fruits as one body, essentially the pure essence of knowledge.
