sukhaṃ yadātmaviśrāntau gate manasi sattvatām | pātāle bhūtale svarge tanna bhogeṣu keṣucit || 92 ||

English

When the mind attains the state of pure goodness and rests in the self, there is happiness; that happiness is not found in the pleasures of the underworld, the earth, or heaven.

api saṃpūrṇahṛdyārthāḥ pañcāpīndriyavṛttayaḥ | tāvajjayanti māmetā bhṛṅgaṃ citralatā iva || 93 ||

English

Even the five senses, which are the complete objects of the heart, conquer me like a bee to a colorful vine.

adya dīrgheṇa kālena nirahaṃkṛtinā mayā | svargāpavargavaitṛṣṇyamidamāsāditaṃ dhiyā || 94 ||

English

Today, after a long time, with humility, I have attained this dispassion towards heaven and liberation with my intellect.

ciramekāntaviśrāntyai tenaitannabhasaḥ padam | tvamivāgatavānatra dṛṣṭavānasmī tāṃ kuṭīm || 95 ||

English

For a long time, for the sake of solitary rest, I have attained this state of the sky. You have come here like me and I have seen that hut.

adyaitatsaṃparijñātaṃ yadeṣā bhavataḥ kuṭī | āgantā tvaṃ punaśceti mayā tanna vicāritam || 96 ||

English

Today it is known to me that this is your hut. Whether you will come again or not, I have not thought about it.

tadā tvatra mayā jñātaṃ kaścitsiddho'yamātmanā | dehaṃ tyaktveha nirvāṇaṃ gata ityanumānataḥ || 97 ||

English

Then, I realized that some perfected being has attained liberation here by abandoning the body, as inferred.

etanme bhagavanvṛttameṣo'smīti yathāsthitam | mayā te kathitaṃ sarvaṃ yathā jānāsi tatkuru || 98 ||

English

O Lord, this is the true account of me as it is. I have told you everything as you know it, so do as you see fit.

siddhairna yāvadavadhānaparairvicārya nirṇītamuttamadhiyāntaraśeṣavastu | tāvattrikālakalanaṃ na vidanti kiñcidityabjajādimanoso'pi mune svabhāvaḥ || 99 ||

English

O sage, even the minds of those born from the lotus (like Brahma) do not know the calculation of the three times (past, present, future) until the perfected beings, who are focused and have discerned the essence of the supreme intellect, have thoroughly examined it.
