Thus, in the battlefield that resembled the end of the world, the armies, eager for war, rushed forward and clashed with each other.
इस प्रकार, जो कल्पान्त के समान था, युद्ध के लिए उत्सुक सेनाएं आगे बढ़ीं और एक-दूसरे से टकराईं।
तूर्यभेरीमहाशङ्खखङ्गेषु खे नदत्सु चधनुर्ध्वनिषु वीराणां तारक्रेंकारकारिषु || २ ||
tūryabherīmahāśaṅkhakhaṅgeṣu khe nadatsu cadhanurdhvaniṣu vīrāṇāṃ tārakreṃkārakāriṣu || 2 ||
In the sky, the sounds of drums, conches, and war cries resounded, along with the twang of bows and the battle cries of heroes.
आकाश में, ढोल, शंख और युद्ध के नाद गूंज रहे थे, साथ ही धनुष की टंकार और वीरों के युद्ध के नारे भी गूंज रहे थे।

The soldiers clashed with each other, creating a harsh and loud noise, as if the earth itself was being torn apart.
सैनिक एक-दूसरे से टकरा रहे थे, जिससे एक कठोर और तेज शोर उत्पन्न हो रहा था, मानो पृथ्वी खुद फट रही हो।

The hopes of the people were fulfilled as the king's procession began, accompanied by the sound of drums that resonated like thunder from all directions.
लोगों की आशाएँ पूरी हो गईं जब राजा की प्रस्थान यात्रा शुरू हुई, जिसके साथ चारों ओर से बिजली की तरह गरजते हुए ढोलों की आवाज गूंज रही थी।

The mountains of the family resounded with a simultaneous and terrifying sound, as if the entire direction was frozen with the clear and loud sounds of 'chaṭacaṭā'.
परिवार के पर्वतों का स्पष्ट और भयानक शब्द एक साथ गूंजा, मानो सभी दिशाएं 'चटचटा' की स्पष्ट और ऊंची आवाजों से जम गई हों।

The king emerged in all four directions with four arms like the guardians of the world, as if they were the arms of Narayana.
राजा चार दिशाओं में चार भुजाओं के साथ प्रकट हुआ, मानो वे लोकपालों की भुजाएं हों, जैसे नारायण की भुजाएं।

Surrounded by a great army with four divisions, he emerged from the city with difficulty, accompanied by the sound of drums.
चार विभागों वाली एक महान सेना से घिरा हुआ, वह बड़ी मुश्किल से नगर से बाहर निकला, ढोलों की आवाज के साथ।
ददर्शात्मबलं रिक्तं बलवद्रिपुमण्डलम्गर्जन्तं च लयाकृत्या भीमं युद्धोद्धतार्णवम् || ९ ||
dadarśātmabalaṃ riktaṃ balavadripumaṇḍalamgarjantaṃ ca layākṛtyā bhīmaṃ yuddhoddhatārṇavam || 9 ||
He saw his own army diminished, while the enemy's army, roaring with rhythm, appeared like a terrifying ocean of battle frenzy.
उसने अपनी सेना को कम होते हुए देखा, जबकि शत्रु की सेना, लयबद्ध गर्जना के साथ, युद्ध के उन्माद के भयानक समुद्र की तरह दिखाई दी।

The gaps in the arrow-shower were filled with the crocodile formation, spread with the elephant formation, and expanded with the wave formation.
बाणों की वर्षा की खाली जगहें मगरमच्छ व्यूह से भरी हुई थीं, हाथी व्यूह से फैली हुई थीं, और लहर व्यूह से फैली हुई थीं।

The army, arranged in the circular formation of a chariot, was adorned with flags and garlands, and the chariots were moving swiftly, creating a tumultuous scene.
रथों की चक्राकार व्यूह रचना सजी हुई ध्वजाओं और मालाओं से सुशोभित थी, और रथ तेजी से चल रहे थे, जिससे एक उथल-पुथल का दृश्य उत्पन्न हो रहा था।
प्रस्फुरच्छत्रफेनाढ्यं हयहेषितफीत्कृतम्समुल्लसद्धेतिजलं कचद्धाराकरं परम् || १२ ||

The army was resplendent with shining umbrellas and the horses were being urged on by their riders, causing the waves to rise high and creating a magnificent spectacle.
सेना चमकती छत्रों से शोभायमान थी और घुड़सवार अपने घोड़ों को आगे बढ़ा रहे थे, जिससे लहरें ऊँची उठ रही थीं और एक विराट दृश्य उत्पन्न हो रहा था।

The swiftly moving elephants and horses created waves in the water, and the sinful deeds rose up, causing the water to churn and bubble.
तेजी से चलने वाले हाथी और घोड़े पानी में लहरें पैदा कर रहे थे, और पाप के कारण पानी उठ रहा था और उबल रहा था।

The mountain, shaken by the wind, produced a deep rumbling sound, and its peaks were moving up and down, causing a great tremor in its body.
हवा से हिला हुआ पर्वत एक गहरी गर्जना उत्पन्न कर रहा था, और उसकी चोटियाँ ऊपर-नीचे हो रही थीं, जिससे उसके शरीर में एक बड़ा कंपन हो रहा था।
मज्जन्मातङ्गतुरगहेलाहतमहीधरमपारविचरत्पूरकल्लोलालमहाजलम् || १५ ||

The elephants and horses, along with their riders, were moving around the great mountain, causing the vast water to churn and create large waves.
हाथी और घोड़े, अपने सवारों के साथ, महान पर्वत के चारों ओर घूम रहे थे, जिससे विशाल पानी में उथल-पुथल मच रही थी और बड़ी लहरें उठ रही थीं।

The universe was engulfed in a vast ocean of blood, with the sky and the horizon filled with the darkness of the end of the world.
ब्रह्मांड एक विशाल रक्त सागर में डूब गया, जिसमें आकाश और क्षितिज प्रलय के अंधेरे से भरे हुए थे।

The battlefield was filled with shattered weapons, broken armor, and scattered gems. The ground was trembling with the clash of armies and the thunder of weapons.
युद्धक्षेत्र टूटे हुए हथियारों, टूटी हुई कवचों और बिखरे हुए रत्नों से भरा हुआ था। धरती सेनाओं के टकराव और हथियारों की गड़गड़ाहट से काँप रही थी।
रत्नसीकरनीहारसंध्याभ्रपटलानतम्क्वचित्पांसुपयोवाहपीतहेतिपयोधरम् || १८ ||
ratnasīkaranīhārasaṃdhyābhrapaṭalānatamkvacitpāṃsupayovāhapītahetipayodharam || 18 ||
The sky was adorned with the beauty of gems, the evening clouds, and the setting sun. The earth was covered with dust, water, and the blood of the fallen warriors.
आकाश रत्नों की सुंदरता, सांझ के बादलों, और डूबते सूर्य से सजा हुआ था। धरती धूल, पानी, और गिरे हुए योद्धाओं के रक्त से ढकी हुई थी।
तमालोक्य रणाम्भोधिमगस्त्योऽस्य भवाम्यहमिति संचिन्त्य मनसा स पातुं तं रणार्णवम् || १९ ||
tamālokya raṇāmbhodhimagastyo'sya bhavāmyahamiti saṃcintya manasā sa pātuṃ taṃ raṇārṇavam || 19 ||
Seeing the ocean of battle, Agastya thought, 'I will become him,' and resolved in his mind to protect that ocean of battle.
युद्ध के समुद्र को देखकर, अगस्त्य ने सोचा, 'मैं उसका रूप धारण करूँगा,' और मन में संकल्प लिया कि उस युद्ध समुद्र की रक्षा करें।

astraṃ sasmāra vāyavyaṃ caturdikkaṃ ca saṃdadhedhanuṣi śikharādhāre tripurānta ivodyataḥ || 20 ||
He remembered the Vayavya weapon and placed it in all four directions on the peak of his bow, as if ready to destroy the three cities.
उसने वायव्य अस्त्र को याद किया और उसे चारों दिशाओं में अपने धनुष की चोटी पर रखा, जैसे तीन नगरों को नष्ट करने के लिए तैयार हो।

ātmīyadeśasainyānāṃ śreyorthaṃ śāntaye'nalamnamaskṛtyātha japtvāśu sa tattatyāja dāruṇam || 21 ||
For the benefit of the friendly army, he bowed down and quickly chanted, then he abandoned the fierce weapon.
मित्र सेना के कल्याण के लिए, उसने प्रणाम किया और शीघ्रता से जप करके उस भयंकर अस्त्र को त्याग दिया।
यथा तथैव तत्याज तस्य साहायकाय सःपर्जन्यास्त्रं महास्त्रैशं द्विषदातपशान्तये || २२ ||
yathā tathaiva tatyāja tasya sāhāyakāya saḥparjanyāstraṃ mahāstraiśaṃ dviṣadātapaśāntaye || 22 ||
Just as he abandoned it, he also abandoned the great weapon of rain for the sake of his helper to pacify the enemy's heat.
जैसे ही उसने उसे त्याग दिया, वैसे ही उसने शत्रु की गर्मी को शांत करने के लिए अपने सहायक के लिए वर्षा का महान अस्त्र भी त्याग दिया।

From that terrible weapon, which was released from the bow, eight forms emerged in the four directions, filling the space with arrows.
उस भयंकर अस्त्र से, जो धनुष से छोड़ा गया था, चारों दिशाओं में आठ रूप निकले, जिन्होंने स्थान को बाणों से भर दिया।

Arrows, tridents, and other fierce weapons like spears and clubs emerged from the weapon.

Streams of maces, battle-axes, discs, and other weapons also emerged from the weapon.
मुद्गर, प्रास, चक्र, और अन्य अस्त्रों की धाराएँ भी उस अस्त्र से निकलीं।
तोमराणां च सरितो भिन्दिपालमहापगाःपाषाणानां च सरितो वाताः कल्पान्तशंसिनः || २६ ||

The rivers of arrows, the rivers of thunderbolts, the rivers of stones, and the winds that herald the end of the world.
तीरों की नदियाँ, वज्रों की नदियाँ, पत्थरों की नदियाँ, और कल्पान्त की घोषणा करने वाली हवाएँ।
अशनीनां च सरितो विद्युतां सरितस्तथाजलधारासरित्पूराः खङ्गवर्षसमन्विताः || २७ ||
aśanīnāṃ ca sarito vidyutāṃ saritastathājaladhārāsaritpūrāḥ khaṅgavarṣasamanvitāḥ || 27 ||
The rivers of lightning, the rivers of thunder, the rivers of waterfalls, and the rivers filled with showers of swords.
बिजली की नदियाँ, वज्र की नदियाँ, झरनों की नदियाँ, और तलवारों की वर्षा से भरी नदियाँ।
सनाराचा महावर्षहर्षलोत्पातपीवराःनागाश्च युगपर्यन्तस्फुटिताद्रीन्द्रजा इव || २८ ||
sanārācā mahāvarṣaharṣalotpātapīvarāḥnāgāśca yugaparyantasphuṭitādrīndrajā iva || 28 ||
The arrows, the great rain, the joyful omens, and the serpents, all burst forth like the mountains and clouds at the end of the yuga.
तीर, महान वर्षा, हर्ष के उत्पात, और सर्प, सभी युग के अंत में पर्वतों और बादलों के समान फूट पड़े।

By the force of the weapon-rain, the ocean of the enemy army was shaken, as if instantly, not by time, like a heap of dust.
अस्त्र-वर्षा के वेग से शत्रु सेना का समुद्र झटके से हिल गया, जैसे समय नहीं लगा, एक धूल के ढेर के समान।
सलिलाशनिशस्त्राणामासारैश्चण्डमारुतैःसरांसीव विसेतूनि सैन्यानि परिदुद्रुवुः || ३० ||
salilāśaniśastrāṇāmāsāraiścaṇḍamārutaiḥsarāṃsīva visetūni sainyāni paridudruvuḥ || 30 ||
The armies fled in all directions, like rivers overflowing with the fierce winds of the arrows, thunderbolts, and weapons.
सेनाएँ सभी दिशाओं में भाग गईं, जैसे तीर, वज्र, और शस्त्रों के तीव्र हवाओं से नदियाँ उफन रही हों।
चतुरङ्गश्चतुर्दिक्कं बलौघः स पराङ्मुखः। ययौ प्रावृङ्गिरिणदीमहावाह इव द्रुतः || ३१ ||
caturaṅgaścaturdikkaṃ balaughaḥ sa parāṅmukhaḥ yayau prāvṛṅgiriṇadīmahāvāha iva drutaḥ || 31 ||
The fourfold army, turning away from the four directions, departed swiftly like a great flood of the rainy-season river rushing down the mountain.
चारों दिशाओं से मुँह मोड़कर चतुरंगिणी सेना तेजी से चली गई, जैसे वर्षाऋतु की पर्वत नदी का महान प्रवाह तीव्र वेग से बहता है।
वहत्स्विन्नबृहच्छिन्नपताकाकेतुपादपः। मरीचिपुष्पशबलविलोलासिलतावनः || ३२ ||
vahatsvinnabṛhacchinnapatākāketupādapaḥ marīcipuṣpaśabalavilolāsilatāvanaḥ || 32 ||
The forest of creepers sways with flowers like rays of light, bearing tall trees with torn banners and flags, drenched in sweat, as if trembling with the play of existence.
यह लता और वृक्षों का वन चमकते फूलों से युक्त है, मानो प्रकाश की किरणें हों। पसीने से भीगे हुए ऊँचे वृक्ष टूटे हुए ध्वजाओं और पताकाओं को धारण किए हुए हैं, जैसे सृष्टि के खेल में कंपित हो रहे हों।
विलुठत्पुष्टपाषाणपृषद्रक्तद्रवावचः। घोरैर्घुरघुरारावैरलं हृदयभङ्गदः || ३३ ||
viluṭhatpuṣṭapāṣāṇapṛṣadraktadravāvacaḥ ghorairghuraghurārāvairalaṃ hṛdayabhaṅgadaḥ || 33 ||
The ground is strewn with fat stones smeared with blood, their oozing fluids mingling, while terrible roars resound, shattering the heart.
धरती मोटे पत्थरों से भरी पड़ी है, जो खून से सने हुए हैं और उनसे रक्त जैसा द्रव बह रहा है। भयानक गर्जनाओं से हृदय टूटने लगता है।

The clouds roar and thunder, challenged by the clashing of tusks of mighty elephants being carried along, their sounds echoing like crackling lightning.
बादल गरजते और गर्जन करते हैं, मानो विशाल हाथियों के दाँतों के टकराने की आवाज़ से चुनौती दी जा रही हो। उनकी गर्जना बिजली की कड़कड़ाहट की तरह गूँजती है।

The clashing of fierce causes and effects produces a jingling sound like flowers scattering, while the waves of restless horses surge with unsteady motion.
कारण और परिणाम के भीषण संघर्ष से फूलों के बिखरने जैसी झंकार उत्पन्न होती है, जबकि अशांत घोड़ों की लहरें अस्थिर गति से उठती हैं।

The army, with its chariots, soldiers, and wheels, was like a rocky mountain range, filled with infantry, chariots, elephants, horses, and rocks, creating a tumultuous and dangerous situation.
रथों, सैनिकों और पहियों से भरी सेना पत्थर की पहाड़ी की तरह थी, जो पैदल सैनिकों, रथों, हाथियों, घोड़ों और पत्थरों से भरी हुई थी, जिससे एक उथल-पुथल और खतरनाक स्थिति बनी।

The intense and loud cries of 'We are dead, we are dead' filled the air, creating a dense and chaotic uproar.
हम मर गए, हम मर गए' की तीव्र और ऊँची चीखें हवा में भर गईं, जिससे एक घना और अव्यवस्थित हंगामा हो गया।

The great whirlpool of the army's noise, with its moving and rumbling sounds, was like a canopy of evening clouds dripping with bloody dew.
