कबंधों, योद्धाओं और भूतों से भरा हुआ स्थान, जो काँटों और कठिनाइयों से मिश्रित है। भूतों द्वारा खाए जा रहे श्रेष्ठ शवों के मांस से आनंदित कमल।

A place where the heads of brave warriors are severed, and the sky is filled with the trembling of headless torsos and trees.

A place where death is the only ornament, and the act of giving and receiving blows is a boundless disgrace.

Beautiful with the waters of the milky ocean churned by the Mandara mountain, covered with umbrellas, and adorned with a multitude of flowers in the sky.
मंदराचल के मथन से उत्पन्न क्षीरसागर के जल से सुंदर, छत्रों से ढका हुआ, और आकाश में फूलों की भरमार से सजा हुआ।

dantidantaviniṣpiṣṭaśiṣṭasadbhaṭasaṅkaṭam | kaṭe mṛtyoriva naradrākṣāpīḍanayantrake || 40 ||
The remnants of the good warriors crushed by the elephant's tusks, as if in the waist of death, in the machine that grinds human bones.
हाथी के दांतों द्वारा कुचले गए अच्छे योद्धाओं के अवशेष, जैसे मृत्यु की कमर में, मानव हड्डियों को कुचलने वाली मशीन में।
यन्त्रपाषाणसंघट्टपिष्टाम्बरगतायुधम् | योधनादनदद्दन्तिवृन्दबन्धुरकन्दरम् || ४१ ||
yantrapāṣāṇasaṃghaṭṭapiṣṭāmbaragatāyudham | yodhanādanadaddantivṛndabandhurakandaram || 41 ||
The weapons were crushed by the collision of machines and stones, and the battlefield resounded with the roars of warriors and the trumpeting of elephants.
यंत्रों और पत्थरों के टकराने से हथियार चूर-चूर हो गए, और युद्धभूमि योद्धाओं के गर्जन और हाथियों के चिग्घाड़ने से गूंज उठी।
धराधरदरीरन्तःप्रतिश्रुत्प्रोतगर्जितम् | अर्जितं प्राणसर्वस्वमर्जयद्भिरुपार्जितम् || ४२ ||
dharādharadarīrantaḥpratiśrutprotagarjitam | arjitaṃ prāṇasarvasvamarjayadbhirupārjitam || 42 ||
The earth and mountains echoed with the resounding roars, and the warriors, having gained their lives and all possessions, were cleansed by their efforts.
धरती और पहाड़ गर्जन की प्रतिध्वनि से गूंज उठे, और योद्धाओं ने अपने जीवन और सभी संपत्ति प्राप्त करके अपने प्रयासों से शुद्ध हो गए।
भर्जितं हेतिदहनैरग्निदाहैश्च संततैः | तैरेवान्यैरथान्यैश्च द्वन्द्वयुद्धैरनिष्ठितम् || ४३ ||
bhrajitaṃ hetidahanairagnidāhaiśca saṃtataiḥ | tairevānyairathānyaiśca dvandvayuddhairaniṣṭhitam || 43 ||
Burned by the continuous fires of weapons and other means, the battle was fought with various dual combats.

वेष्टितं मृतशिष्टैश्च सारैः सुभटपेटकैः | कैलासैरिव संशुद्धैरीश्वराधारतां गतैः || ४४ ||
veṣṭitaṃ mṛtaśiṣṭaiśca sāraiḥ subhaṭapeṭakaiḥ | kailāsairiva saṃśuddhairīśvarādhāratāṃ gataiḥ || 44 ||
Surrounded by the remains of the dead, the excellent warriors were like the purified Kailasa, having attained the support of the Lord.
मृतकों के अवशेषों से घिरे हुए, उत्तम योद्धा शुद्ध कैलास के समान थे, जिन्होंने ईश्वर का आधार प्राप्त कर लिया था।
तैरुदारैः समाक्रान्तं ये मृत्योरपि मृत्यवः | मरणं जीवितं येषां जीवितं मरणं रणे || ४५ ||
tairudāraiḥ samākrāntaṃ ye mṛtyorapi mṛtyavaḥ | maraṇaṃ jīvitaṃ yeṣāṃ jīvitaṃ maraṇaṃ raṇe || 45 ||
Those noble ones who are even more fearless than death itself, for whom death is life and life is death in battle.
वे उदार लोग जो मृत्यु से भी अधिक निडर हैं, जिनके लिए मृत्यु जीवन है और जीवन मृत्यु है युद्ध में।
रणे नभसि निर्लूनवरवारणवारिजे | सारसाः सरसीवात्र रेजुरत्युद्भटा भटाः || ४६ ||
raṇe nabhasi nirlūnavaravāraṇavārije | sārasāḥ sarasīvātra rejuratyudbhaṭā bhaṭāḥ || 46 ||
In the battlefield, the sky was filled with the roar of elephants and the sound of arrows| The cranes, as if in a lake, shone brightly, and the warriors were extremely fierce.
रणभूमि में, आकाश हाथियों के गर्जन और बाणों की आवाज से भरा हुआ था| सारस पक्षी मानो सरोवर में चमक रहे थे, और योद्धा अत्यंत उग्र थे।
यन्त्राश्मक्षेपणानां प्रसरणसरितां घूकृतैः फूत्कृतैर्द्राक् क्रान्तानां व्योम्नि मूर्ध्नां शरसलिलमुचां सैनिकानां च नादैः | टांकारैरायुधानां नभसि विसरतामश्वचक्रेभशब्दैरासीन्निःसंधिबन्धोपलजठरजडं जीर्णकर्णं गतं तत् || ४७ ||
yantrāśmakṣepaṇānāṃ prasaraṇasaritāṃ ghūkṛtaiḥ phūtkṛtairdrāk krāntānāṃ vyomni mūrdhnāṃ śarasalilamucāṃ sainikānāṃ ca nādaiḥ | ṭāṃkārairāyudhānāṃ nabhasi visaratāmaśvacakrebhśabdairāsīnnisaṃdhibandhopalajaṭharajaḍaṃ jīrṇakarṇaṃ gataṃ tat || 47 ||
The sound of machines and stones being thrown, the flow of rivers, the roar and the sound of arrows being shot in the sky, the noise of soldiers, the clanging of weapons, the sound of horses and chariots spreading in the sky, all this created a deafening noise that made the ears tired.
यंत्रों और पत्थरों को फेंकने की आवाज, नदियों का प्रवाह, आकाश में बाणों की आवाज, सैनिकों की आवाज, हथियारों की खड़खड़ाहट, घोड़ों और रथों की आवाज आकाश में फैली, यह सब मिलकर एक ऐसी आवाज पैदा कर रही थी जिससे कान थक गए थे।
