bhushuṇḍa uvāca | ityutsave vartamāne tāsāṃ vāhāsta uttamāḥ | tathaiva mattā jahasurnanṛtuḥ papurapyasṛk || 1 ||
Bhushunda said: In this festival, their excellent vehicles were present. Similarly, intoxicated, they laughed, danced, and drank blood.
भुशुण्ड ने कहा: इस उत्सव में, उनके उत्तम वाहन उपस्थित थे। इसी प्रकार, मतवाले होकर, वे हँसे, नाचे और रक्त पीते रहे।
तत्रैकत्रासवोन्मत्ताः काश्चिन्ननृनुरम्बरे | रथहंस्यः स्थिता ब्राहम्यः काकश्चालम्बुसारथः || २ ||
tatraikatrāsavonmattāḥ kāścinnanṛnurambare | rathahaṃsyaḥ sthitā brāhamyaḥ kākaścālambusārathaḥ || 2 ||
There, in some places, intoxicated by alcohol, some danced in the sky. The chariot-swans stood there, divine, and the crow was the charioteer of the water-lily.
वहाँ, कुछ जगहों पर, मदिरा से मतवाले होकर, कुछ आकाश में नाचे। रथ-हंस वहाँ खड़े थे, दिव्य, और कौआ कमल का सारथी था।
नृत्यन्तीनां च हंसीनां पिबन्तीनामथासवम् | तले चाब्धितटानां तु रतिः सम्यगजायत || ३ ||
nṛtyantīnāṃ ca haṃsīnāṃ pibantīnāmathāsavam | tale cābdhitataṭānāṃ tu ratiḥ samyagajāyata || 3 ||
And of the dancing swans and those drinking alcohol, pleasure arose properly on the shore of the ocean.
और नाचती हुई हंसों और मदिरा पीते हुए लोगों के बीच, समुद्र के तट पर आनंद उत्पन्न हुआ।
संजातरतयो मत्ताः सर्वा हंस्य क्रमेण ताः | रेमिरे सह काकेनाप्यथ मत्तास्तदा किल || ४ ||
saṃjātaratayo mattāḥ sarvā haṃsya kramena tāḥ | remire saha kākenāpyatha mattāstadā kila || 4 ||
All those intoxicated swans, having attained pleasure, enjoyed with the crow at that time.
सभी मतवाली हंसें, आनंद प्राप्त करके, उस समय कौए के साथ आनंद ले रही थीं।
सप्तानां कुलहंसीनां दयितो वायसस्त्वसो | क्रमेणारमतैकत्र यावदन्योन्यमीप्सितम् || ५ ||
saptānāṃ kulahaṃsīnāṃ dayito vāyasastvaso | krameṇāramataikatra yāvadanyonyamīpsitam || 5 ||
The crow, beloved of the seven families of swans, enjoyed with each one in turn as much as desired by each other.
कौआ, जो सात हंस कुलों का प्रिय था, प्रत्येक के साथ क्रमशः उतना ही आनंद लेता था जितना एक-दूसरे से चाहा जाता था।
अथ ता गर्भधारिण्यो बभूवुरतितोषिताः | देव्यश्च कृतनृत्यास्ताः सुप्रशान्तमथाययुः || ६ ||
atha tā garbhadhāriṇyo babhūvuratitoṣitāḥ | devyaśca kṛtanṛtyāstāḥ suprasāntamathāyayuḥ || 6 ||
Then those pregnant women became very pleased. And those goddesses, having danced, attained great peace.
तब वे गर्भवती स्त्रियाँ अत्यंत संतुष्ट हो गईं। और वे देवियाँ, नृत्य करके, बहुत शांति प्राप्त की।
ददुरोदनतां यातमीश्वराय प्रियामुमाम् | भोजनाय महामायां देव्यस्ताः शूलपाणये || ७ ||
dadurodanatāṃ yātamīśvarāya priyāmumām | bhojanāya mahāmāyāṃ devyastāḥ śūlapāṇaye || 7 ||
Those goddesses gave the beloved Uma, who had attained the state of crying, to the lord for enjoyment. They gave the great illusion to the one holding the trident.
वे देवियाँ रोने की स्थिति को प्राप्त प्रिय उमा को भोग के लिए ईश्वर को दे दिया। उन्होंने महान माया को त्रिशूल धारी को दे दिया।
प्रिया मे भोजने दत्तेत्येवं च शशिशेखरः | बुद्ध्वा बभूव रुषितो यदा मातृगणं प्रति || ८ ||
priyā me bhojane dattetyevaṃ ca śaśiśekharaḥ | buddhvā babhūva ruṣito yadā mātṛgaṇaṃ prati || 8 ||
Thinking, 'My beloved has been given for enjoyment,' thus the moon-crested one became angry when he understood the group of mothers.
सोचकर, 'मेरी प्रिय भोग के लिए दी गई है,' इस प्रकार चंद्रमा से सुशोभित शिव जब मातृगण को समझे, तब क्रोधित हो गए।
तदा तास्तां समुत्पाद्य स्वाङ्गदानेन वै पुनः | ददुर्भूयो विवाहेन पार्वतीमिन्दुमौलये || ९ ||
tadā tāstāṃ samutpādya svāṅgadānena vai punaḥ | dadurbhūyo vivāhena pārvatīmindumaulaye || 9 ||
Then, those goddesses, having created her again through the gift of their own bodies, gave Parvati once more to the moon-crested one through marriage.
तब, वे देवियाँ, अपने शरीर के दान से उसे फिर से उत्पन्न करके, विवाह के द्वारा पार्वती को फिर से चंद्रमा से सुशोभित शिव को दे दिया।
ततो देव्यो हरश्चैव परिवारस्तथैतयोः | सर्वे संतुष्टमनसः स्वां स्वामुपययुर्दिशम् || १० ||
tato devyo haraścaiva parivārastathaitayoḥ | sarve saṃtuṣṭamanasaḥ svāṃ svāmupayayurdishaṃ || 10 ||
Then the goddesses, Shiva, and their respective attendants, all with satisfied minds, went to their own directions.
तब देवियाँ, शिव, और उनके परिवार, सभी संतुष्ट मन से, अपनी-अपनी दिशाओं में चले गए।
अन्तर्वत्न्यो बभूवुस्ता ब्राह्म्यो हंस्यो मुनीश्वर | वृत्तान्तं कथयामासुर्ब्राह्म्या देव्या यथास्थितम् || ११ ||
antarvatnyo babhūvustā brāhmyo haṃsyo munīśvara | vṛttāntaṃ kathayāmāsurbrāhmyā devyā yathāsthitam || 11 ||
Those who were in the womb became Brahmi swans, O great sage. They narrated the events to the goddess Brahmi as they happened.
जो गर्भ में थे, वे ब्राह्मी हंस बन गए, हे मुनीश्वर। उन्होंने देवी ब्राह्मी को घटनाओं का वर्णन ठीक उसी तरह किया जैसे हुआ था।
ब्राह्म्युवाच | हे वत्स्यः सांप्रतं वत्सवत्यो मे रथकर्मणि | न समर्था भवन्त्यो हि स्वैरं चरत सांप्रतम् || १२ ||
brāhmyuvāca | he vatsyaḥ sāṃprataṃ vatsavatyo me rathakarmaṇi | na samarthā bhavantyo hi svairaṃ carata sāṃpratam || 12 ||
Brahmi said: O Vatsya, at present, my calves are not capable of the chariot work. Therefore, wander freely now.
ब्राह्मी ने कहा: हे वत्स्य, वर्तमान में, मेरे बछड़े रथ के काम में समर्थ नहीं हैं। इसलिए, अब स्वतंत्र रूप से विचरण करो।
इति गर्भालसा हंसीरुक्त्वा देवी दयापरा | निर्विकल्पसमाधाने ब्राह्मी तस्थौ यथासुखम् || १३ ||
iti garbhālasā haṃsīruktvā devī dayāparā | nirvikalpasamādhāne brāhmī tasthau yathāsukham || 13 ||
Thus, having spoken, the compassionate goddess Brahmi, who was in the womb, remained in a state of undisturbed meditation, as she pleased.
इस प्रकार, कहकर, दयालु देवी ब्राह्मी, जो गर्भ में थी, निर्विकल्प समाधि में सुखपूर्वक रही।
अजनाभिसरोजान्तवैरिञ्चकमलाकरे | गर्भालसा विचेरुस्ता राजहंस्यो मुनीश्वर || १४ ||
ajanābhisarojaantavairiñcakamalākare | garbhālasā vicerustā rājahaṃsyo munīśvara || 14 ||
Those swans in the womb wandered in the lotus hand of Brahma, the creator, O great sage.
गर्भ में वे हंस ब्रह्मा, सृष्टिकर्ता के कमल हाथ में विचरण करते थे, हे मुनीश्वर।
एवं विपक्वगर्भास्ता नाभीकमलपल्लवे | सुवते स्म मृदून्यण्डान्यथ वल्ल्य इवाङ्कुरान् || १५ ||
evaṃ vipakvagarbhāstā nābhīkamalapallave | suvate sma mṛdūnyaṇḍānyatha vallya ivāṅkurān || 15 ||
Thus, those with matured wombs laid soft eggs in the lotus petals of the navel, like tendrils laying sprouts.
इस प्रकार, जिनके गर्भ परिपक्व हो गए थे, उन्होंने नाभि कमल के पल्लव में मृदु अंडे दिए, जैसे लताएँ अंकुर देती हैं।
तानि कालं समासाद्य ततोऽण्डान्येकविंशतिः | गर्भाक्रान्त्या द्विधा जग्मुर्ब्रह्माण्डानीव सारवत् || १६ ||
tāni kālaṃ samāsādya tato'ṇḍānyekaviṃśatiḥ | garbhākrāntyā dvividhā jagmurbrahmāṇḍānīva sāravat || 16 ||
In the course of time, those twenty-one eggs, filled with embryos, split into two, like the Brahmāṇḍa.
समय के साथ, वे इक्कीस अंडे, गर्भ से भरे हुए, दो हिस्सों में विभाजित हो गए, ब्रह्माण्ड की तरह।
अण्डेभ्यस्तेभ्य एवं हि जाता वयमिमे मुने | भ्रातरश्चण्डतनया वायसा एकविंशतिः || १७ ||
aṇḍebhyastebhya evaṃ hi jātā vayamime mune | bhrātaraścaṇḍatanayā vāyasā ekaviṃśatiḥ || 17 ||
From those eggs, we twenty-one brothers, the sons of Chanda, were born, O sage.
उन अंडों से, हम इक्कीस भाई, चंदा के पुत्र, उत्पन्न हुए, हे मुनि।
ते संजाता गता वृद्धिं तस्मिन्कमलपल्लवे | संजातपक्षाः संपन्ना गगनोड्डयने क्षमाः || १८ ||
te saṃjātā gatā vṛddhiṃ tasminkamalapallave | saṃjātapakṣāḥ saṃpannā gaganōḍḍayane kṣamāḥ || 18 ||
They were born and grew up in that lotus leaf, developed wings, and became capable of flying in the sky.
वे उस कमल पत्ते में उत्पन्न हुए और बढ़े, पंख विकसित किए, और आकाश में उड़ने में सक्षम हो गए।
मातृभिः सह हंसीभिर्ब्राह्मी भगवती ततः | चिरमाराधिता सम्यक्समाधिविरता सती || १९ ||
mātṛbhiḥ saha haṃsībhirbrāhmī bhagavatī tataḥ | ciramārādhitā samyaksamādhi-viratā satī || 19 ||
Along with their mothers, the swans, the divine Brahmi, was worshipped for a long time with proper meditation.
अपनी माताओं के साथ, हंसों के साथ, दिव्य ब्राह्मी की लंबे समय तक उचित ध्यान के साथ पूजा की गई।
प्रसादपरया काले भगवत्या ततः स्वयम् | तथाङ्गानुगृहीता स्मो येन मुक्ता वयं स्थिताः || २० ||
prasādaparayā kāle bhagavatyā tataḥ svayam | tathāṅgānugṛhītā smo yena muktā vayaṃ sthitāḥ || 20 ||
By the grace of the divine, we were blessed and thus liberated, and we remain in that state.
दिव्य कृपा से, हम आशीर्वादित हुए और इस प्रकार मुक्त हुए, और हम उस स्थिति में रहे।
संशान्तमनसः शान्ता एकान्ते ध्यानसंस्थितौ | तिष्ठाम इति निश्चित्य पितुः पार्श्वे वयं गताः || २१ ||
saṃśāntamanasaḥ śāntā ekānte dhyānasaṅsthitau | tiṣṭhāma iti niścitya pituḥ pārśve vayaṃ gatāḥ || 21 ||
With our minds calmed, we decided to remain in solitude, engaged in meditation. Thus, we went to our father's side.
हमारे मन शांत हो गए, हम एकांत में ध्यान में लगे हुए थे। इस प्रकार, हम अपने पिता के पास गए।
आलिङ्गितास्ततः पित्रा पूजितालम्बुसा वयम् | तया दृष्टाः प्रसादेन संस्थितास्तत्र संयताः || २२ ||
āliṅgitāstatas pitrā pūjitālambusā vayam | tayā dṛṣṭāḥ prasādena saṃsthitāstatra saṃyatāḥ || 22 ||
Then, embraced by our father and honored by Alambusa, we were seen by her with grace and remained there, restrained.
फिर, हमारे पिता ने हमें आलिंगन किया और अलम्बुसा ने हमारा सम्मान किया। उसने हमें अपनी कृपा से देखा और हम वहाँ सीमित रहे।
चण्ड उवाच | पुत्राः कच्चिदपर्यन्तवासनातन्तुगुण्ठितात् | भवन्तो निर्गता नूनमस्मात्संसारजालकात् || २३ ||
caṇḍa uvāca | putrāḥ kaccidaparyantavāsanātantuguṇṭhitāt | bhavanto nirgatā nūnamasmātsaṃsārajālakāt || 23 ||
Chanda said: O sons, I hope you have completely given up the entanglements of worldly desires and have surely come out of this web of worldly existence.
चण्ड ने कहा: हे पुत्रों, मुझे आशा है कि तुमने संसारिक इच्छाओं के जाल को पूरी तरह से त्याग दिया है और इस संसार के जाल से निकल आए हो।
नो चेद्वयं भगवतीं तदिमां भृत्यवत्सलाम् | प्रार्थयामो यथा यूयं भवथ ज्ञानपारगाः || २४ ||
no cedvayaṃ bhagavatīṃ tadimāṃ bhṛtyavatsalām | prārthayāmo yathā yūyaṃ bhavatha jñānapāragāḥ || 24 ||
If not, we will pray to that compassionate goddess so that you may become proficient in knowledge.
यदि नहीं, तो हम उस दयालु देवी से प्रार्थना करेंगे ताकि तुम ज्ञान में पारंगत बन सको।
काका ऊचुः | तात ज्ञातमलं ज्ञेयं ब्राह्म्या देव्याः प्रसादतः | किंत्वेकान्तस्थितेः स्थानमभिवाञ्छाम उत्तमम् || २५ ||
kākā ūcuḥ | tāta jñātamalaṃ jñeyaṃ brāhmyā devyāḥ prasādataḥ | kiṃtvekāntasthiteḥ sthānamabhivāñchāma uttamam || 25 ||
The crows said: O Father, we have known the knowable through the grace of the goddess Brahmi. However, we desire the best place for solitude.
कौए ने कहा: हे पिता, हमने ब्रह्मी देवी की कृपा से ज्ञेय को जान लिया है। फिर भी, हम एकांत के लिए सबसे अच्छी जगह चाहते हैं।
चण्ड उवाच | सर्वरत्नगणाधारः समस्तसुरसंश्रयः | अस्ति ह्येव महोत्सेधो मेरुर्नाम महीधरः || २६ ||
caṇḍa uvāca | sarvaratnagaṇādhāraḥ samastasurasaṃśrayaḥ | asti hyeva mahotse dho merurnāma mahīdharaḥ || 26 ||
Chanda said: There exists a great mountain named Meru, which is the repository of all gems and the abode of all gods.
चण्ड ने कहा: एक महान पर्वत है जिसका नाम मेरु है, जो सभी रत्नों का आधार और सभी देवताओं का आश्रय है।
लसच्चन्द्रार्कदीपस्य भूतवृन्दकलत्रिणः | ब्रह्माण्डमण्डपस्यान्तः स्तम्भः कनकनिर्मितः || २७ ||
lasaccandrārkadīpasya bhūtavṛndakalatriṇaḥ | brahmāṇḍamaṇḍapasyāntaḥ stambhaḥ kanakanirmitaḥ || 27 ||
It is the pillar of the universe, adorned with the moon and the sun, surrounded by various beings, and made of gold.
यह ब्रह्मांड का स्तंभ है, जो चंद्रमा और सूर्य से अलंकृत है, विभिन्न प्राणियों से घिरा हुआ है, और सोने से बना है।
सौवर्णचन्द्रपीठाढ्यो रत्नाढ्यशिखराङ्गुलिः | ध्वनद्द्वीपाब्धिवलयो भुवेवोन्नमितो भुजः || २८ ||
sauvarṇacandrapīṭhāḍhyo ratnāḍhyaśikharāṅguliḥ | dhvanaddvīpābdhivalayo bhuvevonnamito bhujaḥ || 28 ||
It is adorned with a golden moon-like seat, its peaks are rich with gems, and it is surrounded by islands and oceans, raised like an arm on the earth.
यह सोने के चंद्रमा जैसे आसन से अलंकृत है, इसकी चोटियाँ रत्नों से भरी हुई हैं, और यह द्वीपों और समुद्रों से घिरा हुआ है, पृथ्वी पर एक भुजा की तरह उठा हुआ है।
वृतः कुलाद्रिसामन्तैर्जम्बूद्वीपासने स्थितः | राजा चन्द्रार्कनयने भ्रमयञ्छैलसंसदि || २९ ||
vṛtaḥ kulādrisāmantairjambūdvīpāsane sthitaḥ | rājā candrārkanayane bhramayañchailasaṃsadi || 29 ||
Surrounded by the ranges of mountains, situated on the throne of Jambudvipa, the king with moon and sun-like eyes wanders in the assembly of mountains.
पर्वत श्रृंखलाओं से घिरा हुआ, जम्बूद्वीप के सिंहासन पर स्थित, चंद्रमा और सूर्य जैसी आँखों वाला राजा पर्वतों की सभा में विचरता है।
तारौघमालतीमाल्यो दिग्दशैकाम्बराम्बरः | नागजातिद्वयस्थात्मा नाकनायकभूषणः || ३० ||
tāraughamālatīmālyo digdaśaikāmbarāmbaraḥ | nāgajātidvayasthātmā nākanāyakabhūṣaṇaḥ || 30 ||
Adorned with garlands of stars and jasmine, wearing the sky as his garment, his soul residing in the two serpent races, he is the ornament of the lord of heaven.
तारों और जास्मिन की मालाओं से अलंकृत, आकाश को अपना वस्त्र बनाए, उसकी आत्मा दो सर्प जातियों में निवास करती है, वह स्वर्ग के स्वामी का आभूषण है।
दिगङ्गनाभिरभितो रम्याभिः पुरभूषणैः| एष निस्यन्दिभिः शीतैर्वीजितो घनचामरैः || ३१ ||
digaṅganābhirabhito ramyābhiḥ purabhūṣaṇaiḥ| eṣa nisyandibhiḥ śītairvījito ghanacāmaraiḥ || 31 ||
Surrounded by beautiful clouds in all directions, this one is fanned by cool, dense clouds resembling chowries.
चारों ओर सुंदर बादलों से घिरा हुआ, यह ठंडे और घने बादलों द्वारा चंवर की तरह झला जाता है।
षोडशास्य सहस्राणि योजनानामधः क्षितौ| स्थिताः पादाः प्रपूज्यन्ते नागासुरमहोरगैः || ३२ ||
ṣoḍaśāsya sahasrāṇi yojanānāmadhaḥ kṣitau| sthitāḥ pādāḥ prapūjyante nāgāsuramahoragaiḥ || 32 ||
Sixteen thousand yojanas below the earth, the feet are situated and worshipped by serpents, demons, and great serpents.
पृथ्वी के नीचे सोलह हजार योजन पर, पैर स्थित हैं और नागों, असुरों और महान सर्पों द्वारा पूजे जाते हैं।
अशीतिश्च सहस्राणि देहोऽस्यार्केन्दुलोचनः| पूज्यते नाकसदने सुरगन्धर्वकिंनरैः || ३३ ||
aśītiśca sahasrāṇi deho'syārkendulocanaḥ| pūjyate nākasadane suragandharvakiṃnaraiḥ || 33 ||
Eighty thousand yojanas is the body of this one with eyes like the sun and moon, worshipped in the heavenly abode by gods, gandharvas, and kinnaras.
अस्सी हजार योजन है इसका शरीर, जिसकी आँखें सूर्य और चंद्रमा की तरह हैं, और जो स्वर्ग में देवताओं, गंधर्वों और किन्नरों द्वारा पूजा जाता है।
चतुर्दशविधान्येनं गृहस्थमिव बान्धवाः| उपजीवन्ति भूतानि मिथो दृष्टपुरास्पदम् || ३४ ||
caturdaśavidhānyenaṃ gṛhasthamiva bāndhavāḥ| upajīvanti bhūtāni mitho dṛṣṭapurāspadam || 34 ||
Fourteen kinds of beings, like relatives, depend on this one as if on a householder, having seen the ancient abode.
चौदह प्रकार के प्राणी, जैसे रिश्तेदार, इस पर निर्भर हैं, जैसे कि एक गृहस्थ पर, पुराने निवास को देखकर।
अस्य त्वीशानदिग्भागे पद्मरागमयं बृहत्| विद्यते शृङ्गमपरो दिवाकर इवोदितः || ३५ ||
asya tvīśānadigbhāge padmarāgamayaṃ bṛhat| vidyate śṛṅgamaparo divākara ivoditaḥ || 35 ||
In the northeastern direction of this one, there exists a large peak made of ruby, shining like the rising sun.
इसके ईशान दिशा के भाग में, एक बड़ा पहाड़ी शिखर है जो माणिक से बना है, उगते हुए सूर्य की तरह चमकता है।
अस्यास्ति पृष्ठे भूतौघवृतः कल्पतरुर्महान् जगतः शिखरादर्शे प्रतिबिम्बमिव स्थितः || ३६ ||
asyāsti pṛṣṭhe bhūtaughavṛtaḥ kalpatarurmahān jagataḥ śikharādarśe pratibimbamiva sthitaḥ || 36 ||
On its back, there is a great wish-fulfilling tree, surrounded by a multitude of beings, standing like a reflection in the mirror of the world's peak.
इसके पीछे एक महान कल्पतरु है, जो भूतौघ से घिरा है और जगत के शिखर के दर्पण में प्रतिबिम्ब की तरह स्थित है।
तस्यास्ति दक्षिणस्कन्धे शाखा कनकपल्लवा रत्नस्तबकनीरन्ध्रा चन्द्रबिम्बोल्लसत्फला || ३७ ||
tasyāsti dakṣiṇaskandhe śākhā kanakapallavā ratnastabakanīrandhrā candrabimbollasatphalā || 37 ||
On its southern shoulder, there is a branch with golden leaves, adorned with jewel-like buds, and bearing fruits that shine like the moon.
इसके दक्षिण कंधे पर एक शाखा है, जिसमें सोने के पल्लव हैं, रत्न जैसे बटन हैं, और चंद्रमा की तरह चमकते फल हैं।
तत्र पूर्वं मया नीडं कृतमासीत्स्फुरन्मणि देव्या ध्याननिषण्णायां यस्मिन्किल रमे सुताः || ३८ ||
tatra pūrvaṃ mayā nīḍaṃ kṛtamāsītsphuranmaṇi devyā dhyānaniṣaṇṇāyāṃ yasmin kila rame sutāḥ || 38 ||
There, previously, I had made a nest adorned with shining gems, in which the goddess, seated in meditation, delighted with her children.
वहाँ, पहले, मैंने एक चमकते मणियों से सजा घोंसला बनाया था, जिसमें ध्यान में बैठी देवी अपने बच्चों के साथ आनंद लेती थी।

बुद्धिपूर्वसमाचारैः संपूर्णं काकपुत्रकैः शीतलाभ्यन्तरं हृद्यं पूरितं कुसुमोत्करैः || ४० ||
buddhipūrvasamācāraiḥ saṃpūrṇaṃ kākaputrakaiḥ śītalābhyantaraṃ hṛdyaṃ pūritaṃ kusumotkaraiḥ || 40 ||
Filled with wise and virtuous actions, complete with the young of crows, cool inside, pleasant, and filled with clusters of flowers.

तद्गच्छत सुता नीडं दुर्गं नाकवतामपि | भोगं मोक्षं च तत्रस्था निर्विघ्रमलमाप्स्यथ || ४१ ||
tadgacchata sutā nīḍaṃ durgam nākavatāmapi | bhogaṃ mokṣaṃ ca tatrasthā nirvighramalamāpsyatha || 41 ||
Go, dear children, to that abode, which is difficult to reach even for the gods | There, you will attain enjoyment and liberation without any obstacles
जाओ, प्यारे बच्चों, उस निवास की ओर, जो देवताओं के लिए भी दुर्गम है | वहाँ तुम बिना किसी बाधा के भोग और मोक्ष प्राप्त करोगे
इत्युक्त्वास्मान्पिता तत्र चुचुम्बाभ्यालिलिङ्ग च | ददौ देव्या यदानीतमस्मभ्यं च तदामिषम् || ४२ ||
ityuktvāsmānpitā tatra cucumbābhyāliliṅga ca | dadau devyā yadānītamasmabhyaṃ ca tadāmiṣam || 42 ||

परिहृत्य दिनाधीशं लोकान्तरपुरं गताः | स्वर्गमुल्लङ्घ्य याताः स्मो ब्रह्मलोकं मुनीश्वर || ४५ ||
parihṛtya dinādhīśaṃ lokāntarapuraṃ gatāḥ | svargamullaṅghya yātāḥ smo brahmalokaṃ munīśvara || 45 ||
Circumambulating the sun, they went to the otherworldly city | Crossing heaven, they reached the realm of Brahma, O great sage
सूर्य का परिक्रमा करके, वे अन्य लोक के नगर में गए | स्वर्ग को पार करके, वे ब्रह्मलोक तक पहुँचे, हे महान ऋषि
प्रणामपूर्वं तत्रैतद्यथावत्तत्पितुर्वचःमात्रे च भगवत्यै च ब्राह्म्यै चाशु निवेदितम् || ४६ ||
praṇāmapūrvaṃ tatraitadyathāvattatpiturvacaḥmātre ca bhagavatyai ca brāhmyai cāśu niveditam || 46 ||

tābhyāṃ sasnehamāliṅgya gacchatetyājñayaidhitāḥvayaṃ kṛtanamaskārā brahmalokādvinirgatāḥ || 47 ||
Having affectionately embraced them, we were instructed to go and, having bowed down, we departed from Brahmaloka.
उन्हें स्नेहपूर्वक आलिंगन करके, हमें जाने का आदेश दिया गया और प्रणाम करके हम ब्रह्मलोक से निकले।
उल्लङ्घ्य लोकपालानां पुरीस्तपनभास्वराःआकाशगामिनो लोलाः पवनस्कन्धचारिणः || ४८ ||
ullaṅghya lokapālānāṃ purīstapanabhāsvarāḥākāśagāmino lolāḥ pavanaskandhacāriṇaḥ || 48 ||
Transcending the guardians of the worlds, we moved through the sky, shining like the sun, wandering aimlessly, carried by the wind.
लोकपालों को पार करके, हम आकाश में सूर्य की तरह चमकते हुए, बेमकसद घूमते हुए, हवा के सहारे चले।
इमं कल्पतरुं प्राप्य निजं नीडं प्रविश्य चदूरस्थबाधास्तिष्ठामो मुने मौनमवस्थिताः || ४९ ||
imaṃ kalpataruṃ prāpya nijaṃ nīḍaṃ praviśya cadūrasthabādhāstiṣṭhāmo mune maunamavasthitāḥ || 49 ||
Having reached this wish-fulfilling tree and entering our own nest, we remain in silence, O sage, free from distant troubles.
इस कल्पवृक्ष तक पहुँचकर और अपने घोंसले में प्रवेश करके, हे मुनि, हम दूर की पीड़ाओं से मुक्त मौन में रहते हैं।
जाता यथा वयमिमे स्थितिमागताश्च संप्राप्य बोधमुपशान्तधियो यथावतेतत्तदुक्तमविखण्डमलं मया ते शेषेण मां समनुशाधि महानुभाव || ५० ||
jātā yathā vayamime sthitimāgatāśca saṃprāpya bodhamupaśāntadhiyo yathāvatetattaduktamavikhaṇḍamalaṃ mayā te śeṣeṇa māṃ samanuśādhi mahānubhāva || 50 ||
As we have been born and have attained this state, having achieved enlightenment with peaceful minds, as it has been said, flawless and pure, instruct me further, O great one.
जैसे हम जन्म लिये हैं और इस अवस्था को प्राप्त हुए हैं, शांत मन से बोध प्राप्त करके, जैसा कि कहा गया है, दोषरहित और पवित्र, हे महानुभाव, मुझे और शिक्षा दें।
