bhānuruvāca | pitāmahakrame tasmins tataste bahubhāvanāt | karmabhistaiḥ samākrāntamanaskāstasthurādr̥tāḥ || 1 ||
Bhānu said: In the order of the grandfather, they, due to many thoughts, were overwhelmed by those actions, and stood motionless, respectful.
भानु ने कहा: पितामह क्रम में, वे बहुत से विचारों से, उन कर्मों से व्याप्त होकर, निश्चल और आदरपूर्वक खड़े हुए।
यावत्ते देहकास्तेषां तापेन पवनैस्तथा | कालेन शोषमभ्येत्य गलिताः शीर्णपर्णवत् || २ ||
yāvatte dehakāsteṣāṃ tāpena pavanais tathā | kālena śoṣamabhyetya galitāḥ śīrṇaparṇavat || 2 ||
Until their bodies, due to heat and wind, and over time, became dry and decayed like withered leaves.
जब तक उनके शरीर, गर्मी और हवा के कारण, और समय के साथ, सूखकर और सड़कर मुरझाए पत्तों की तरह हो गए।
जक्षुस्तान्देहकांस्तत्र क्रव्यादा वनवासिनः | इतश्चेतश्च लुठितान्सुफलानीव मर्कटाः || ३ ||
jakṣustāndeha kāṃstatra kravyādā vanavāsinaḥ | itaścetśc lulitān suphalānīva markaṭāḥ || 3 ||
There, the carnivorous forest dwellers devoured those bodies, wandering here and there like monkeys searching for fruit.
वहाँ, मांसाहारी वनवासी उन शरीरों को खा गए, फल खोजते बंदरों की तरह इधर-उधर भटकते हुए।
अथ ते शान्तबाह्यार्था ब्रह्मत्वे कृतभावनाः | तस्थुश्चतुर्युगस्यान्ते यावत्कल्पः क्षयं गतः || ४ ||
atha te śāntabāhyārthā brahmatve kṛtabhāvanāḥ | tasthuścatur yugasyānte yāvatkalpaḥ kṣayaṃ gataḥ || 4 ||
Then, they, with their external desires calmed, focused on Brahman, remained until the end of the four yugas, until the kalpa came to an end.
तब, वे, अपनी बाहरी इच्छाओं को शांत करके, ब्रह्म पर ध्यान लगाकर, चार युगों के अंत तक रहे, जब तक कल्प का अंत नहीं हो गया।
क्षीयमाणे ततः कल्पे तपत्यादित्यसंचये | पुष्करावर्तकेषूच्चैर्वर्षत्सु कठिनारवम् || ५ ||
kṣīyamāṇe tataḥ kalpe tapatyādityasaṃcaye | puṣkarāvartakeṣūccair varṣatsu kaṭhināravam || 5 ||
Then, as the kalpa diminished, in the intense heat of the sun, in the heavy downpour of the lotus-shaped clouds, there was a harsh sound.
तब, जब कल्प क्षीण हो गया, सूर्य की तीव्र गर्मी में, कमल के आकार के बादलों की भारी वर्षा में, एक कठोर ध्वनि हुई।
वहत्सु कल्पवातेषु स्थित एकमहार्णवे | क्षीणेषु भूतवृन्देषु ते तथैव व्यवस्थिताः || ६ ||
vahatsu kalpavāteṣu sthita ekamahārṇave | kṣīṇeṣu bhūtavṛndeṣu te tathaiva vyavasthitāḥ || 6 ||
In the midst of the great ocean, with the winds of the aeons blowing, when all beings are exhausted, they remain in that state.
महान समुद्र में, कल्प के वायुओं के बहने के बीच, जब सभी प्राणी थक जाते हैं, तब वे उसी स्थिति में रहते हैं।
ततो रात्रिक्रमपरे सर्वां संहृत्य तां स्थितिम् | स्थिते त्वय्यात्मनि विभो ते तथैव व्यवस्थिताः || ७ ||
tato rātrikramapare sarvāṃ saṃhṛtya tāṃ sthitim | sthite tvayyātmani vibho te tathaiva vyavasthitāḥ || 7 ||
After that, at the end of the night, having withdrawn everything into that state, O Lord, they remain in that state within you, the Self.
उसके बाद, रात के अंत में, सब कुछ उस स्थिति में वापस ले जाकर, हे भगवान, वे आपमें, आत्मा में, उसी स्थिति में रहते हैं।
अद्य प्रबुद्धे भवति स्रष्टुमिच्छति संसृतिम् | सुखेनैव क्रमेणोच्चैस्ते तथैव व्यवस्थिताः || ८ ||
adya prabuddhe bhavati sraṣṭumicchati saṃsṛtim | sukhenaiva krameṇoccaitaste tathaiva vyavasthitāḥ || 8 ||
Today, having awakened, you desire to create the cycle of existence. With ease and in due course, they remain in that state.
आज, जाग जाने पर, आप अस्तित्व के चक्र को सृजित करना चाहते हैं। सुविधा से और क्रम से, वे उसी स्थिति में रहते हैं।
तथैते भगवन्ब्रह्मन्ब्रह्मणो ब्राह्मणा दश | त एते दश संसारा मनोव्योमनि संस्थिताः || ९ ||
tathaite bhagavanbrahmanbrahmaṇo brāhmaṇā daśa | ta ete daśa saṃsārā manovyomani saṃsthitāḥ || 9 ||
Thus, O Lord Brahma, these ten Brahmins, the sons of Brahma, are these ten cycles of existence situated in the mental sky.
इस प्रकार, हे भगवान ब्रह्मा, ये दस ब्राह्मण, ब्रह्मा के पुत्र, मानसिक आकाश में स्थित ये दस संसार चक्र हैं।
तेषामेकतमस्याहमयमाकाशमन्दिरे | भानुर्भुवि विभो कालकलाकर्मणि योजितः || १० ||
teṣāmekatamasyāhamayamākāśamandire | bhānurbhuvi vibho kālakalākarmaṇi yojitaḥ || 10 ||
Among them, I am this one, situated in the sky, the sun on earth, O Lord, engaged in the work of time.
उनमें से, मैं यह एक हूँ, आकाश में स्थित, पृथ्वी पर सूर्य, हे भगवान, समय के कार्य में लगा हुआ।
एष ते कथितः सर्गो दिशानामलसंभव ब्रह्मणां संभवो व्योम्नि यथेच्छसि तथा कुरु || ११ ||
eṣa te kathitaḥ sargo diśānāmalasaṃbhava brahmaṇāṃ saṃbhavo vyomni yathecchasi tathā kuru || 11 ||
This creation of the directions has been described to you, O Brahma, as it occurred in the sky. Act as you wish.
हे ब्रह्मा, यह दिशाओं की सृष्टि तुम्हें बताई गई है, जैसे यह आकाश में हुई थी। जैसे तुम चाहो, वैसे करो।
विविधकल्पनया वलिताम्बरं यदिदमुत्तम जागतमुत्थितम् करणजालकमाहितमोहनं तदखिलं निजचेतसि विभ्रमः || १२ ||
vividhakalpanayā valitāmbaraṃ yadidamuttama jāgatamutthitam karaṇajālakamāhitamohanaṃ tadakhilaṃ nijacetasi vibhramaḥ || 12 ||
This supreme world, which has arisen with various imaginations, is enveloped in diverse forms. The network of senses is greatly enchanting, and all of this is a delusion in one's own consciousness.
यह उत्तम जगत, जो विविध कल्पनाओं से उत्पन्न हुआ है, विभिन्न रूपों में लिपटा हुआ है। इंद्रियों का जाल बहुत मोहक है, और यह सब कुछ अपने चेतना में एक भ्रम है।
