The English and Hindi are machine translations, not yet reviewed by a scholar. How they are madeये कैसे बने
That which spreads uselessly, without the presence of consciousness, is not real. How can the unreal spread? Where does the son of a barren woman dance?
udito'pi na khedāya brahmarūpatvavedanāt paramāya tv anarthāya jagacchabdārthabhāvanāt || 5 ||
Even when arisen, it does not cause sorrow due to the realization of Brahman. However, it is meaningless due to the conceptualization of the world as real.
Even the sense of 'I' is for the sake of suffering; it is said to be 'I' only because of the feeling; from the feeling of 'not I', it is said to be bound in its own nature.
That meditation or that state of samadhi is considered to be the absence of sensation, like the inertness of the inert, uniform, peaceful, and free from disease.
Do not be distressed by the confusion arising from the distinctions of duality and non-duality in the context of statements, O wise ones, like the ignorant.
The extremely subtle vasana (impression) itself attains liberation through the transformation of the supreme atom, just as clouds and other things in the sky.
Through the sense of 'I', the impression becomes dense in the intellect, just as ignorance becomes wisdom through the practice of association with the wise.
There is no 'I' here due to my reasoning, the certainty within is of the nature of peace. It is said that there is a firm understanding in both the living and the non-living.
Just as duality appears in the wind, so does the universe appear here. The questioning 'Who am I? How is this?' calms down through inquiry alone.
ko'haṃ kathamidaṃ dṛśyaṃ ko jīvaḥ kiṃ ca jīvanam | iti tattvajñasamyogādyāvajjīvaṃ vicārayet || 18 ||
One should contemplate throughout one's life: 'Who am I? How is this world perceived? Who is the living being? And what is life?' through the association with the knower of truth.
One should reflect on the meanings stated by him with intelligence for the growth of intelligence. Whatever is said with all resolutions, that should become the essence of truth.
By the association with the wise, one should lead the intellect to the highest sharpness. That ignorance, like a creeper, should be destroyed bit by bit.
idaṃ hi sarvaṃ mṛgatṛṣṇikāmbuvanni rāmaye brahmaṇi śānta ātate | vicārite nāhamitīha vidyate kutaḥ kva kasmānmananādivibhramaḥ || 27 ||
Indeed, all this is just like the mirage water, it is pacified in Brahman, the self is absorbed | Upon inquiry, there is no 'I' here, wherefrom, where, and why is the confusion of the mind?
