Nirvāṇa II, Chapter 115निर्वाण प्रकरण · सर्ग ११५

पार्श्वगा ऊचुः । अत्रोत्तमाशथ लतावलयालयेषु लीलाविलोलललनाः कलयन्ति गीतम् । उद्दामभावरसविस्मृतवासरेहा विश्रम्य किंनरगणाः कलकाकलीकम् ॥ १ ॥

pārśvagā ūcuḥ | atrottamāśatha latāvalayālayeṣu līlāvilolalalanāḥ kalayanti gītam | uddāmabhāvarasavisṛtavāsarehā viśramya kiṃnaragaṇāḥ kalakākalīkam || 1 ||

The attendants said, 'Here, in the finest abodes adorned with creepers, the playful and charming women sing songs | The Kinara beings, forgetting the essence of their lofty emotions, rest and engage in melodious chatter.'

पार्श्वगा ने कहा, 'यहाँ, सबसे उत्तम लताओं से सजे घरों में, खेल-खेल में ललित स्त्रियाँ गीत गाती हैं | किंनर गण, अपने उत्तम भावों की रस को भूलकर, विश्राम करते हैं और मधुर बातचीत करते हैं।'

एते हिमाद्रिमलयाचलविन्ध्यसह्यक्रौञ्चा महेन्द्रमधुमन्दरदर्दुराद्याः । दूरस्थिता दृशि सिताभ्रपटा वहन्ति संशुष्कपर्णलवलाञ्छितलोष्टलीलाम् ॥ २ ॥

ete himādri-malayācala-vindhya-sahya-krauñcā mahēndra-madhumaṃdara-dardurādyāḥ | dūrasthitā dṛśi sitābhrapaṭā vahanti saṃśuṣkapaṇṇalavalāñchitalōṣṭalīlām || 2 ||

These mountains—Himādri, Malaya, Vindhya, Sahya, Krauñca, Mahendra, Madhumandara, and Dardura, among others—appear like distant white clouds to the eye, carrying the playful dance of dry leaves.

ये पर्वत—हिमाद्रि, मलय, विन्ध्य, सह्य, क्रौंच, महेन्द्र, मधुमन्दर, और दर्दुर, आदि—दूर स्थित सफेद बादलों की तरह दिखाई देते हैं, जो सूखे पत्तों की खेल-भरी लीला को लेकर चलते हैं।

अमी दूरालोकव्यवहितमहावर्त्मनिचयाः पुरःप्राकाराणां कुलशिखरिणो बिभ्रति वपुः । विशन्तीरम्भोधिं कलय लुलिता भान्ति सरितः पटस्यान्तः सक्ताः प्रतनुसितसूत्रा इव दशाः ॥ ३ ॥

amī dūrālokavyavahitamahāvartmanicayāḥ purḥprākārāṇāṃ kulaśikariṇo bibhrati vapuḥ | viśantīrambhodhiṃ kalaya lulitā bhānti saritaḥ paṭasyāntaḥ saktāḥ pratanusitasūtrā iva daśāḥ || 3 ||

These great mountains, separated by vast distances, stand like the peaks of the front walls of cities | The rivers, entering the ocean, appear like thin white threads attached to a cloth.

ये महान पर्वत, दूर-दूर तक फैले हुए, शहरों के अग्र दीवारों के शिखरों की तरह खड़े हैं | समुद्र में प्रवेश करती नदियाँ कपड़े में लगे पतले सफेद धागे की तरह दिखाई देती हैं।

दशाशाः शैलानामुपरि परितः प्रावृतघना घनश्यामाकाराः खगकलकलालापलपिताः । लतामुक्तैः पुष्पैर्ललितवनलेखाभुजलता हसन्त्यस्ते राजन्भवनवनिता भान्ति पुरतः ॥ ४ ॥

daśāśāḥ śailānāmupari paritaḥ prāvṛtaghanā ghanśyāmākārāḥ khagakalakalālāpalapitāḥ | latāmuktairpuṣpaiḥlalitavanalekhābhujalatā hasantyaste rājanbhāvanavaniitā bhānti purataḥ || 4 ||

The peaks of the mountains, covered with dense clouds, appear dark and are filled with the chatter of birds | The women of the palace, adorned with flowers from the creepers, appear graceful like the curves of a vine, laughing and standing before the king.

पर्वतों की चोटियाँ, घने बादलों से ढकी हुई, काली दिखाई देती हैं और पक्षियों की चहचहाहट से भरी हुई हैं | लताओं से फूलों से सजी महल की स्त्रियाँ, लताओं की लहरी की तरह सुंदर दिखाई देती हैं, हँसती हुई राजा के सामने खड़ी हैं।

तालीतमालबकुलाकुलतुङ्गशृङ्गमेकीकृताकृति वनं तरलं विभाति । अभ्याहतं जलनिधेस्तरलैस्तरङ्गैस्तीरान्तलग्नघनशैवलजालकल्पम् ॥ ५ ॥

tālītamālabakulākulatuṅgaśṛṅgamekīkṛtākṛti vanaṃ taralaṃ vibhāti | abhyāhataṃ jalanidhestaralaitaraṅgaitīrāntalagnaghanaśaivalajālakalpam || 5 ||

The forest, filled with tall peaks adorned with Tālī, Tāmala, and Bakula trees, appears to be trembling | Struck by the waves of the ocean, it appears like a dense net of reeds on the shore.

ताली, तामल और बकुल के वृक्षों से सजी ऊँची चोटियों से भरा वन, काँपता हुआ दिखाई देता है | समुद्र की लहरों से छूआ हुआ, यह तट पर घने नल के जाल की तरह दिखाई देता है।

इतः स्वपिति केशवः कुलमितस्तदीयद्विषामितोऽपि शरणार्थिनः शिखरिपत्रिणः शेरते । इतोऽपि वडवानलः सह समस्तसंवर्तकैरहो विततमूर्जितं भरसहं च सिन्धोर्वपुः ॥ ६ ॥

itah svapiti keshavaḥ kulamitas tadīyadvishāmito'pi sharanārthinaḥ shikharipatriṇaḥ sherate | ito'pi vaḍavānalaḥ saha samastasamvartakai raaho vitatamūrjitaṃ bharasahaṃ cha sindhorvapuḥ || 6 ||

Here, Keshava sleeps, and here the enemies of His family also sleep, seeking refuge in the mountain caves. Here too, the submarine fire along with all the winds of destruction, oh, spreads out, enduring the burden of the ocean.

यहाँ केशव सोते हैं, और यहाँ उनके परिवार के शत्रु भी पहाड़ी गुफाओं में शरण लेकर सोते हैं। यहाँ भी, समुद्री अग्नि और सभी विनाशकारी वायुओं के साथ, ओह, समुद्र के भार को सहन करते हुए फैलती है।

एते जम्बुनदीतटा रविकरैराभान्ति हेमाखिलग्रामारण्यपुरस्थलीगिरितरुस्थाण्वग्रहारोच्चयाः । ज्वालालीवलिताबरांतरलिहो मुञ्चन्ति भासोभितस्सर्वा भूमिप भूरिहैवममरासेव्यास्ति नो मानुषैः ॥ ७ ॥

ete jambunadītaṭā ravikarairābhānti hemākhilagrāmāraṇyapurasthalīgiritarusthāṇvagrahārocchayāḥ | jvālālīvalitābarāṃtaralihomuñchantibhāsobhitassarvābhūmipa bhūrihaivamamarāsevyāsti no mānuṣaiḥ || 7 ||

These banks of the Jambu River shine with the rays of the sun, illuminating the golden villages, forests, cities, plains, mountains, trees, and peaks. The flames lick the inner clouds, emitting light, and all the earth shines. Oh king, such divine service is not possible for humans.

ये जम्बु नदी के तट सूर्य की किरणों से चमकते हैं, स्वर्णिम गाँवों, जंगलों, शहरों, मैदानों, पहाड़ों, पेड़ों और चोटियों को प्रकाशित करते हुए। ज्वालाएँ अंतरिक्ष के बादलों को चाटती हैं, प्रकाश छोड़ती हैं, और सारी पृथ्वी चमकती है। हे राजन, ऐसी दिव्य सेवा मनुष्यों के लिए संभव नहीं है।

एते कदम्बवनकम्बलमम्बुदाभमाभान्ति भास्करपथानुगता वहन्तः । अस्याचलस्य वसुधेव तटं तवास्तु मा सूर्यरोधकनभस्थघनौघशङ्का ॥ ८ ॥

ete kadambavanakambalamambudābhmābhānti bhāskarapathānugatā vahantaḥ | asyācalasya vasudheva taṭaṃ tavāstu mā sūryarodhakanabhasthaghanaughaśaṅkā || 8 ||

These clouds, resembling the Kadamba forest, shine following the path of the sun, carrying water. May the shore of this mountain be like the earth for you, without the fear of the dense clouds obstructing the sun.

ये बादल, जो कदंब वन के समान दिखते हैं, सूर्य के मार्ग का अनुगमन करते हुए चमकते हैं, पानी लेकर। इस पर्वत का तट आपके लिए पृथ्वी के समान हो, घने बादलों द्वारा सूर्य को रोकने की चिंता के बिना।

एषोऽसौ मलयो लयोग्रलवलीवल्लीलसच्चन्दनस्फीतामोदमदाद्रसेन तरवो वक्रे क्रियन्ते त्रिभिः । सज्वालोदहनाक्षसंस्थितकपोलोष्मोदयोत्ताण्डवे अङ्गुष्ठाङ्गुलिभिर्यथोष्णककणास्तप्ता यथा योषिताम् ॥ ९ ॥

eṣo'sau malayo layogralavalīvallīlasaccandanasphītāmodamadādrasena taravo vakre kriyante tribhiḥ | sajvālodahanākṣasaṃsthitakapolōṣmodayottāṇḍave aṅguṣṭhāṅgulibhiryathoṣṇakakaṇāstaptā yathā yoṣitām || 9 ||

This Malaya mountain, with its delightful sandalwood trees bent by the strong breeze, emits a fragrant scent. In the intense heat of the blazing fire, the trees are bent as if by the touch of a woman's warm fingers.

यह मलय पर्वत, जिसके चंदन के वृक्ष तेज हवा से झुके हुए हैं, एक सुगंधित गंध छोड़ता है। तीव्र गर्मी में जलती आग के समय, पेड़ ऐसे झुकते हैं जैसे कि किसी स्त्री के गर्म उंगलियों के स्पर्श से।

एषोऽब्धिधौतकलधौततटाधिरूढभोगीन्द्रभोगपरिवेष्टितचन्दनोऽगः । विद्याधरीवदनपङ्कजदीप्तिपुञ्जहेमीकृताखिलशिलो मलयाभिधानः ॥ १० ॥

eṣo'bddhidhautakaladhautataṭādhirūḍhabhogīndrabhogapariveṣṭitacandano'gaḥ | vidyādharīvadanapaṅkajadīptipuñjahemīkṛtākhilaśilo malayābhidhānaḥ || 10 ||

This Malaya mountain, washed by the ocean and adorned with serpents, is surrounded by sandalwood and illuminated by the radiance of the lotus-like faces of the Vidyadharis. It is turned into gold, known as Malaya.

यह मलय पर्वत, समुद्र से धुला हुआ और सर्पों से सजा हुआ, चंदन से घिरा हुआ है और विद्याधरियों के कमल के समान चेहरों की चमक से प्रकाशित है। यह सोने में बदल गया है, मलय के नाम से जाना जाता है।

कूजत्कुञ्जकठोरगह्वरनदीक्वत्कारवत्कीचकस्तम्भाडम्बरमूकमौकुलिकुलः क्रौञ्चाचलोयं गिरिः। एतस्मिन्प्रबलाकिनां प्रचलतामुद्वेजिताः कूजितैरुद्वेल्लन्ति पुराणरोहणतरुस्तम्भेषु कुम्भीनसाः ॥ ११ ॥

kūjatkuñjakaṭhoragahvaranadīkvatkāravatkīcakastambhāḍambaramūkamaukulikulaḥ krauñcācaloyam giriḥ| etasminprabalākinām pracalatāmudvejitāḥ kūjitairudvellanti purāṇarohaṇatarustambheṣu kumbhīnasāḥ || 11 ||

This is the mountain Krauncha, with its harsh, deep caves and the sounds of peacocks and cuckoos| In this mountain, the cranes are frightened by the loud calls of the strong cranes and rise up on the ancient tree trunks.

यह क्रौंच पर्वत है, जिसकी कठोर, गहरी गुफाएँ और मोरों और कोयलों की आवाजें हैं| इस पर्वत में, शक्तिशाली सारसों के ऊँचे बुलावों से डरकर बगुले पुराने पेड़ों की तनों पर उठते हैं।

कोमलकनकलतालयविलसितललनाविलोलवलयकृतम्। श्रवणरसायनपानं विततमिहाकर्णयास्य तटे ॥ १२ ॥

komalakanakalatālayavilasitalalanāvilolavalayakṛtam| śravaṇarasāyanapānaṃ vitatamihākarṇayāsya taṭe || 12 ||

The delicate golden creepers sway gently, creating a charming scene| Listen to the sweet music here on the shore.

कोमल सुनहरी लताएँ हल्के से लहराती हैं, एक मोहक दृश्य बनाती हैं| तट पर यहाँ मधुर संगीत सुनो।

करिकरटगलितमदजलवलितश्चलवीचिचञ्चरीकचयैः। चर्वित एष कदर्थित इव कणनिकरो विरौति वारिनिधौ ॥ १३ ॥

karikaraṭagalitamadajalavalitaścalavīcicañcarīkacayaiḥ| carvita eṣa kadarthita iva kaṇanikaro virauti vārinidhau || 13 ||

The elephant's ichor flows, mixing with the water, creating ripples| The lotus buds seem to be chewed and scattered in the water.

हाथी का मद बहता है, पानी में मिलकर लहरें बनाता है| कमल के कली जैसे चबाए और पानी में बिखरे हुए हैं।

पश्यामलेन्दुरामृतनवनीतशरीरसुन्दरीवलितः। पितुरुत्सङ्गे कुरुते जललीलां क्षीरवारिनिधौ ॥ १४ ॥

paśyāmalendurāmṛtanavanītaśarīrasundarīvalitaḥ| piturutsangē kurutē jalalīlāṃ kṣīravārinidhau || 14 ||

See the beautiful moon, shining like fresh butter, sitting on the father's lap| It plays with water in the milk ocean.

देखो चाँद को, जो ताजा मक्खन की तरह चमक रहा है, पिता की गोद में बैठा हुआ| यह दूध के समुद्र में पानी के साथ खेल रहा है।

नृत्यन्ति मत्तकलकोकिलकाकलीकाः पश्यामले मलयसानुनि बालवल्ल्यः। लोलालिजालनयनारुणपत्रपाणिपुष्पा मधूत्सवविलासविशेषवत्यः ॥ १५ ॥

nṛtyanti mattakalakokilakākalīkāḥ paśyāmalē malayasānuni bālavallyaḥ| lolālijālanayanāruṇapatrapāṇipuṣpā madhūtsavavilāsaviśeṣavatyaḥ || 15 ||

See the intoxicated cuckoos dancing on the tender creepers of the Malaya mountain| With swaying eyes and red petals in their hands, the flowers are especially joyful in the honey festival.

देखो नशे में चूहे मलय पर्वत की कोमल लताओं पर नाच रहे हैं| लहराती आँखों और लाल पत्तों के हाथों वाले फूल मधु उत्सव में विशेष रूप से खुश हैं।

वंशानां हृदि पर्वतेषु जलधौ तोयार्थिनीनां तु ये शुक्तीनां हृदये विशन्ति समये वर्षांभसां बिन्दवः । ते मुक्ताफलतां व्रजन्ति करिणां कुम्भेषु वान्यद्भवेत् शुद्धौ मौक्तिकवत्स्युरुत्तमगुणा एतास्त्रिधा जातयः ॥ १६ ॥

vaṃśānāṃ hṛdi parvateṣu jaladhau toyārthinīnāṃ tu ye śuktīnāṃ hṛdaye viśanti samaye varṣāmbhasāṃ bindavaḥ | te mukta phalatāṃ vrajanti kariṇāṃ kumbheṣu vānyadbhavet śuddhau mauktikavatsyuruttamaguṇā etāstridhā jātayaḥ || 16 ||

The drops of rain that enter the hearts of oysters in the ocean, the hearts of mountains, and the hearts of bamboo, transform into pearls. These pearls, when found in elephants' trunks or in pure forms, possess the highest qualities.

जो वर्षा के पानी की बूँदें समुद्र में शुक्तियों के हृदय में, पर्वतों के हृदय में और बाँस के हृदय में प्रवेश करती हैं, वे मोती बन जाती हैं। ये मोती, जब हाथियों के सूँड़ में या शुद्ध रूप में पाए जाते हैं, तो उनमें उत्तम गुण होते हैं।

शैलेऽब्धौ पुरुषेऽवनौ जलधरे भेके शिलायां गजे नानाकारधरा भवन्ति मणयः कर्माणि तेषां विभो । ह्लादोच्चाटनमारणज्वरभयभ्रान्तिप्रकाशान्धताखेदोत्तापनभूनभोगतिदृशो नाशो विधानं तथा ॥ १७ ॥

śaile'bdhau puruṣe'vanau jaladhare bheke śilāyāṃ gaje nānākāradharā bhavanti maṇayaḥ karmāṇi teṣāṃ vibho | hlādoccāṭanamāraṇajvarabhayabhrāntiprakāśāndhatākhedottāpanabhūnabhogatidṛśo nāśo vidhānaṃ tathā || 17 ||

Gems found in mountains, oceans, men, forests, clouds, frogs, stones, and elephants take various forms and have different effects. O Lord, they bring joy, bewitchment, death, fever, fear, delusion, illumination, blindness, fatigue, heat, earthly pleasures, and destruction.

पर्वतों, समुद्रों, मनुष्यों, वनों, बादलों, मेढकों, पत्थरों और हाथियों में पाए जाने वाले रत्न विभिन्न रूपों में होते हैं और अलग-अलग प्रभाव डालते हैं। हे प्रभु, ये आनंद, मोह, मृत्यु, ज्वर, भय, भ्रांति, प्रकाश, अंधता, थकान, गर्मी, भूमि के सुख और विनाश लाते हैं।

वातायनोदरगवाक्षकवाटकक्षाद्वाराननैरिह पुराण्युदिते पठन्ति । श्वभ्राभ्रकन्दरदरीवनवेणुरन्ध्रवर्गेण मन्दर इवामृतसिन्धुमिन्दुम् ॥ १८ ॥

vātāyanodaragavākṣakavāṭakakṣādvārānanairiha purāṇyudite paṭhanti | śvabhrābhrakandaradarīvanaveṇurandhravargeṇa mandara ivāmṛtasindhumindum || 18 ||

The ancient stories recited here through the windows, doors, and holes of caves, clouds, and bamboo flutes, resemble the nectar-ocean moon of Mandara mountain.

यहाँ खिड़कियों, दरवाजों और गुफाओं, बादलों और बाँसुरियों के छेदों से सुनाए जाने वाले पुराने किस्से मानो मंदर पर्वत के अमृत सागर के चंद्रमा के समान हैं।

एतच्छृङ्गं हरति पवनः किंस्विदित्युन्मुखीभिर्दृष्टोत्साहश्चकितचकितं मुग्धसिद्धाङ्गनाभिः । प्रालेयाद्रेः प्रतितटवनं प्रोत्पतत्यभ्रमूर्ध्वं वज्रस्तम्भो गगनसुतलोत्तोलनायेव भूमेः ॥ १९ ॥

etacchṛṅgaṃ harati pavanaḥ kiṃsvidityunmukhībhirdṛṣṭotsāhaścakitacakitaṃ mugdhasiddhāṅganābhiḥ | prāleyādreḥ pratitaṭavanaṃ protpatatyabhramūrdhvaṃ vajrastambho gaganasutalottolanaiveva bhūmeḥ || 19 ||

The wind carries away this peak, what is this? The eager and astonished young celestial women look with amazement. The cloud rises from the foot of the snowy mountain, as if to lift the earth to the sky with its thunderbolt pillar.

यह शिखर हवा ले जाती है, यह क्या है? उत्सुक और आश्चर्यचकित युवा देवांगनाएँ आश्चर्य से देखती हैं। बर्फीले पर्वत के तल से बादल ऊपर उठता है, मानो अपने वज्र स्तंभ से पृथ्वी को आकाश तक उठाना चाहता हो।

गङ्गातरङ्गहिमसीकरशीतलानि विद्याधराध्युषितचारुशिलातलानि । पुष्पाभ्रसंवलितपुष्पितकाननानि राजन्विलोकय महेन्द्रगिरेस्तटानि ॥ २० ॥

gaṅgātaraṅgahimasīkarasītalāni vidyādharādhyuṣitacāruśilātalāni | puṣpābhrasaṃvalitapuṣpitakānanāni rājanvilokaya mahendragirestataāni || 20 ||

O King, behold the banks of the great Mahendra mountain, cooled by the icy drops of the Ganges' waves, adorned with beautiful stones inhabited by Vidyadharas, and blooming forests covered with flowering clouds.

हे राजन्, महेंद्र पर्वत के तटों को देखो, जो गंगा की लहरों के बर्फीले कणों से ठंडे हैं, विद्याधरों द्वारा आबाद चारु पत्थरों से सजे हैं, और फूलों से भरे बादलों से ढके खिले हुए वनों से भरे हैं।

देशान्तरेषु विततानि वनान्तराणि पुष्पस्थलान्युपवनान्यथ पत्तनानितीर्थेषु पूतभुवनानि जलानि दृष्ट्वा दौर्भाग्यमीतिरपयाति जवानुविद्धा ॥ २१ ॥

deśāntareṣu vitatāni vanāntarāṇi puṣpasthalānyupavanānyatha pattanānitīrtheṣu pūtabhuvanāni jalāni dṛṣṭvā daurbhāgyamītirapayāti javānuviddhā || 21 ||

In distant lands, there are forests, flower gardens, parks, cities, and holy places with pure waters. Seeing these, one's misfortune departs swiftly.

दूर के देशों में, वन, फूलों के स्थान, उपवन, नगर, और पवित्र स्थान हैं जहाँ शुद्ध जल है। इन्हें देखकर, दुर्भाग्य तेजी से दूर हो जाता है।

शृङ्गाणि पूरितदिगन्तरमण्डलानि श्वभ्राभ्रकन्दरनिकुञ्जकुलाकुलानि व्योमोपमान्यपि च वारिधिकुण्डलानि दृष्ट्वा गलन्ति कुकृतानि बृहत्तराणि ॥ २२ ॥

śrṛṅgāṇi pūritadigantaramaṇḍalāni śvabhrābhrakandaranikuñjakulākulāni vyomopamānyapi ca vāridhikuṇḍalāni dṛṣṭvā galanti kukṛtāni bṛhattarāṇi || 22 ||

Seeing the mountain peaks filling the horizons, the chasms, clouds, caves, and dense thickets teeming with life, and even the sky-like vast oceans, great sins dissolve away.

पर्वतों की चोटियाँ जो क्षितिज को भर देती हैं, गहरे गड्ढे, बादल, गुफाएँ और घने जंगल जहाँ जीवन भरपूर है, और आकाश के समान विशाल समुद्रों को देखकर बड़े-बड़े पाप नष्ट हो जाते हैं।

रम्याश्चन्दनवीथयो हि मलये विन्ध्ये मदान्धा गजाः कैलासे नृप पादजाति कनकं चन्द्रं महेन्द्राचलेदिव्याश्चौषधयस्तुषारशिखरे सर्वत्र रत्नानि वै सन्त्यन्धाखुवदेष जीर्णसदने व्यर्थं जनो जीर्यते ॥ २३ ॥

ramyāścandanavīthayo hi malaye vindhye madāndhā gajāḥ kailāse nṛpa pādajāti kanakaṃ candraṃ mahendrācaledivyāścauṣadhayastuṣāraśikhare sarvatra ratnāni vai santyandhākhuvadeṣa jīrṇasadane vyarthaṃ jano jīryate || 23 ||

In Malaya and Vindhya, there are charming sandalwood paths and intoxicated elephants. In Kailasa, there is gold like the feet of kings and the moon. In Mahendra, there are divine herbs and gems everywhere. In the land of Andhakhu, people age in vain in old homes.

मलय और विन्ध्य में, मनमोहक चन्दन की पगडंडियाँ और मतवाले हाथी हैं। कैलास में, राजाओं के पैरों जैसा सोना और चाँद है। महेन्द्र में, दिव्य औषधियाँ और सब जगह रत्न हैं। अंधाखु के देश में, लोग पुराने घरों में व्यर्थ बूढ़े होते हैं।

सोन्नतं जगदिवोरुतटाकं वारिणा विवलितं तिमिरेणप्रस्फुरन्ति च युगान्त इवैता विद्युतः शफरिका इव लोलाः ॥ २४ ॥

sonnataṃ jagadivorutaṭākaṃ vāriṇā vivalitaṃ timireṇaprasphuranti ca yugānta ivaitā vidyutaḥ śapharikā iva lolāḥ || 24 ||

The world appears elevated like a beautiful lake filled with water, shining through the darkness like the end of an era. These lightning bolts flicker like playful fish.

दुनिया एक सुंदर झील की तरह उठी हुई दिखती है, जो पानी से भरी हुई है, और अंधेरे में युगांत की तरह चमकती है। ये बिजली की किरणें खेलती हुई मछलियों की तरह चमकती हैं।

सावश्यायाश्याननीहारधारा धारोद्गारान्वारिदान्मादयन्तःशीतानीतोद्दामरोमाञ्चचर्चाः प्रोद्यच्छब्दं वान्त्यहो वर्षवाताः ॥ २५ ॥

sāvaśyāyāśyānanīhāradhārā dhārodgārānvāridānmādayantaḥśītānītoddāmaromāñcacarcāḥ prodyacchabdaṃ vāntyaho varṣavātāḥ || 25 ||

The inevitable rain showers, with their rising streams, intoxicate the waters. The cold, raised hair-like waves make a resounding noise as the rainy winds blow.

अनिवार्य वर्षा की धाराएँ, उठती हुई धाराओं के साथ, पानी को नशीला बनाती हैं। ठंडे, उठे हुए बालों जैसी लहरें गर्जना करती हैं जब वर्षा की हवाएँ चलती हैं।

हा वाति नीलजलदप्रसरानुसारी वातः किरन्विटपिपल्लवपुष्पगुच्छान्। धीरोत्करद्रुमवनान्तरचारचारुरासारसीकरकदम्बकसारसारः ॥ २६ ॥

hā vāti nīlajaladaprasarānusārī vātaḥ kiranviṭapipallavapuṣpagucchān| dhīrotkaradrumavanāntaracāracārurāsārasīkarakadambakasārasāraḥ || 26 ||

This wind blows, following the flow of the blue clouds, scattering the clusters of tender flowers from the trees| It moves gracefully through the dense forest, filled with the essence of the fragrant Kadamba flowers.

यह हवा चलती है, नीले बादलों के प्रवाह का अनुसरण करते हुए, पेड़ों से कोमल फूलों के गुच्छे बिखेरती हुई| यह घने जंगल में सुंदरता से चलती है, सुगंधित कदंब के फूलों की सुगंध से भरी हुई।

मारुताः सुरतक्रान्तकान्तानिःश्वसितैरिमे। वहन्ति वृद्धिं गन्धं च लवं स्वर्गादिव च्युताः ॥ २७ ॥

mārutāḥ suratakrāntakāntāniḥśvasitairime| vahanti vṛddhiṃ gandhaṃ ca lavaṃ svargādiva cyutāḥ || 27 ||

These winds carry the fragrance and the sighs of lovers exhausted by lovemaking, as if they have fallen from heaven.

ये हवाएँ प्रेम की थकान से थके प्रेमियों की साँसों और सुगंध को लेकर चलती हैं, मानो वे स्वर्ग से गिरी हों।

कुवलयकुवलयविकचनकुसुमलताविदलनोद्यता मृदवः। घनपटपाटनपटवो विधुतोपवना वहन्त्यमी पवनाः ॥ २८ ॥

kavalayakavalayavikachanakusumalatāvidalanodyatā mṛdavaḥ| ghanapaṭapāṭanapaṭavo vidhutopavanā vahantyamī pavanāḥ || 28 ||

These gentle winds, eager to shake the blooming lotus vines, are blowing, causing the dense clouds to scatter.

ये कोमल हवाएँ, खिले हुए कमल की लताओं को हिलाने के लिए उत्सुक, घने बादलों को बिखेरती हुई चल रही हैं।

संध्याभ्रलेशानुपयन्ति वाता नभस्तले कोमलकम्पनेन। नृपाङ्गणे पुष्पविचित्रलेखानुवासिते भृत्यवरा इवैते ॥ २९ ॥

saṃdhyābhraleśānupayanti vātā nabhastale komalakampanena| nṛpāṅgaṇe puṣpavicitralekhānuvāsite bhṛtyavarā ivaite || 29 ||

The winds gently shake the remnants of the evening clouds in the sky, as if they are the best servants decorating the royal court with various flowers.

हवाएँ आकाश में संध्या के बादलों के अवशेषों को कोमलता से हिलाती हैं, मानो वे राजदरबार को विविध फूलों से सजाने वाले श्रेष्ठ सेवक हों।

क्वचित्कुसुमगन्धयः कमलवर्गगन्धाः क्वचित्क्वचितकुसुमवर्षिणो ललितकेसरासारिणः। क्वचिच्च हिमपाण्डवो हरितपीतलश्यामला वहन्ति शिखरानिलाः सुरतमन्दघर्मच्छिदः ॥ ३० ॥

kvacitkusumagandhayaḥ kamalavargagandhāḥ kvacitkvacitkusumavarṣiṇo lalitakesarāsāriṇaḥ| kvaciccha himapāṇḍavo haritapītalśyāmalā vahanti śikharānilāḥ suratamandadharmacchidaḥ || 30 ||

Sometimes the winds carry the fragrance of flowers, sometimes the scent of lotuses. Sometimes they shower flowers with delicate filaments. Sometimes they carry the cool, green, yellow, and dark breezes that dispel the languor of love.

कभी-कभी हवाएँ फूलों की सुगंध लेकर चलती हैं, कभी-कभी कमल की सुगंध| कभी-कभी वे कोमल धागों वाले फूलों की वर्षा करती हैं| कभी-कभी वे ठंडी, हरी, पीली और काली हवाओं को लेकर चलती हैं, जो प्रेम की थकान को दूर करती हैं।

क्वचिद्हुंकारकांकारैरङ्गारनिकरान्करैःकिंकरैर्विकिरत्यर्को मूर्खसंसर्गवानिव ॥ ३१ ॥

kvacidhuṃkārakāṃkārairaṅgāranikarānkaraiḥkiṃkarairvikiratyarko mūrkhasaṃsargavāniva || 31 ||

Sometimes, the sun, as if accompanied by fools, scatters its rays like pieces of charcoal, making a humming sound.

कभी-कभी, सूर्य, मूर्खों के साथ होने की तरह, अपनी किरणें अंगारों के टुकड़ों की तरह बिखेरता है, घुरघुराहट की आवाज करता हुआ।

नररसायनतृप्तिविमुक्तया प्रमदया मदयापितलज्जयाउपगते वपुषा न विषह्यते विषविमूर्च्छनयेव समायता ॥ ३२ ॥

nararasāyanatṛptivimuktayā pramadayā madayāpitalajjayāupagate vapuṣā na viṣahyate viṣavimūrcchanayeva samāyatā || 32 ||

The body, which has been freed from the intoxication of pleasure with women, cannot be endured, as if it has been poisoned and is about to faint.

वह शरीर, जो स्त्रियों के साथ सुख के नशे से मुक्त हो गया है, विष खाकर बेहोश होने की तरह सहन नहीं किया जा सकता।

वलिततामरसा मृदुशीकराः शशिकरोत्करवीचिविभेदिनःसदहना इव तापमयाः पुरो विरहिणीषु वनावनिवायवाः ॥ ३३ ॥

valitatāmarasā mṛduśīkarāḥ śaśikarotkaravīcivibhedinaḥsadahanā iva tāpamayāḥ puro virahiṇīṣu vanāvanivāyavaḥ || 33 ||

The gentle breezes, which are like the soft rays of the moon, seem to burn with heat in front of the separated lovers in the forest, as if they are flames.

जो चंद्रमा की कोमल किरणों के समान हैं, वे कोमल समीर विरही प्रेमियों के सामने वन में जैसे जलती हुई लपटों की तरह तपते हैं।

इह हि पूर्वपयोधितटावटे विकटपत्रपटाः कटकीतटाःनवमदासवयौवनसंश्रयाः कलय यान्ति कथं शबरस्त्रियः ॥ ३४ ॥

iha hi pūrvapayodhitaṭāvaṭe vikaṭapatrapaṭāḥ kaṭakītaṭāḥnavamadāsavayauvanasaṃśrayāḥ kalaya yānti kathaṃ śabarastriyaḥ || 34 ||

Here, on the banks of the eastern ocean, the tribal women with their strange leaf-clothes, intoxicated with new wine and youth, how do they go to the forest?

यहां, पूर्वी समुद्र के किनारे पर, विचित्र पत्तों के वस्त्रों वाली, नवीन मदिरा और यौवन से मतवाली आदिवासी स्त्रियां, वे वन में कैसे जाती हैं?

navarasāsavasāraniśāgamakṣayabhayāturacittatayāṅganātyajati kāntamiyaṃ na manāgapi drutamito valiteva puro'hibhiḥ || 35 ||

With her mind distressed by the fear of the approaching night, this woman leaves her beloved, not even with her consent, quickly, as if driven away by the serpents.

अपने मन को रात के आने के भय से व्याकुल करके, यह स्त्री अपने प्रिय को छोड़ देती है, उसकी सहमति के बिना भी नहीं, जल्दी से, जैसे सर्पों द्वारा भगाई जा रही हो।

प्रभाततूर्यमुखरैर्दिवसैरिव तर्जिता ह्रद्येव स्फुटिता नारी निलीना दयितोरसि ॥ ३६ ॥

prabhātatūryamukharairdivasairiva tarjitā hradyeva sphuṭitā nārī nilīnā dayitorasi || 36 ||

A woman, like a lake bursting forth, is awakened by the loud morning conches, as if threatened by the days.

एक स्त्री, जैसे एक झील फूट पड़ती है, प्रभात के शंखों की ध्वनि से जाग जाती है, मानो दिनों से धमकी दी गई हो।

प्रोत्फुल्लकिंशुकैषा दक्षिणजलधेस्तटेऽत्र वनराजी ज्वलितेव जलतरङ्गैः पौनःपुन्येन सिच्यतेऽम्बुधिना ॥ ३७ ॥

protphullakiṃśukaiṣā dakṣiṇajaladhestaṭe'tra vanarājī jvaliteva jalataraṅgaiḥ paunaḥpunyena sicyate'mbudhinā || 37 ||

Here, on the southern shore of the ocean, a forest path blooms with Palash flowers, as if burning, repeatedly sprinkled by the waves of the sea.

यहाँ, समुद्र के दक्षिणी तट पर, एक वन मार्ग पलाश के फूलों से खिला हुआ है, मानो जलता हुआ, समुद्र की लहरों द्वारा बार-बार सिंचा जाता है।

वास्या निर्यान्त्यनिलैर्धूमा इव कृष्णकेसराम्बुधराः अङ्गारा इव कुसुमान्युपशान्ताङ्गारवच्च खगभृङ्गाः ॥ ३८ ॥

vāsyā niryāntyanilairdhūmā iva kṛṣṇakesarāmbudharāḥ aṅgārā iva kusumānyupaśāntāṅgāravacca khagabhṛṅgāḥ || 38 ||

From the forest, winds emerge like smoke, bearing dark filaments and flowers like embers, and bees like calmed embers.

वन से वायु धुआँ की तरह निकलती है, काले रेशों और अंगारों की तरह फूलों को लेकर, और शांत अंगारों की तरह भौंरों को लेकर।

ईदृश्येव विलोकय वनराजी सत्यवह्निना ज्वलिता गिरिशिरसि तूत्तरस्यां दिशि दूरे धूयते च खे पवनैः ॥ ३९ ॥

īdṛśyeva vilokaya vanarājī satyavahninā jvalitā giriśirasi tūttarasyāṃ diśi dūre dhūyate ca khe pavanaiḥ || 39 ||

Behold such a forest path, truly burning with fire, on the mountain peak, in the northern direction, far away, smoked by the winds in the sky.

ऐसी वन मार्ग को देखो, जो वास्तव में आग से जल रहा है, पर्वत की चोटी पर, उत्तर दिशा में, दूर, आकाश में हवाओं द्वारा धुएँ से ढका हुआ।

क्रौञ्चाचलस्य भुवि मन्थरमेघचक्रगम्भीरताररवनर्तितबर्हिणीयम् पश्योत्थितं तुमुलमाकुलवर्षवातव्याधूतपुष्पफलपल्लवकाननीयम् ॥ ४० ॥

krauñcācalasya bhuvi mantharamēghacakragambhīratāraravanartitabarhiṇīyam paśyotthitaṃ tumulamākulavarṣavātavyādhūtapuṣpaphalapallavakānanīyam || 40 ||

Behold the tumultuous and chaotic storm on the Krauncha mountain, with slow-moving clouds, deep thunder, and peacocks dancing, with flowers, fruits, and tender leaves scattered by the wind.

क्रौंच पर्वत पर धीमे चलने वाले बादलों, गहरी गर्जना और नृत्य करते मोरों के साथ उठते हुए उग्र और अव्यवस्थित वर्षा के तूफान को देखो, जिसमें हवा द्वारा फूल, फल और कोमल पत्तियाँ बिखरी हुई हैं।

अस्ताचले विकटकाञ्चनकूटकोटिसंघट्टनस्फुटितजर्जरचारुसंधिःखर्वं रथः पतति स स्म रवेः सचक्रचीत्कारतारतरकूबररास एषः ॥ ४१ ॥

astācale vikaṭakāñcanakūṭakoṭisaṃghaṭṭanasphuṭitajarjaracārusaṃdhiḥkharvaṃ rathaḥ patati sa sma raveḥ sacakracītkāratāratarakūbararāsa eṣaḥ || 41 ||

On the mountain, the chariot with its golden peaks, shattered and broken, falls with a loud noise, this is the sound of the sun's chariot.

पर्वत पर, स्वर्ण शिखरों वाला रथ, टूटा हुआ और भंग हो गया, एक जोरदार शोर के साथ गिरता है, यह सूर्य के रथ की आवाज है।

भुवनभवनप्राकारेऽद्रौ निशाकरमेरुकं परिविकसितं मीतं भासा मलालिरुपाश्रितःतदिह जगतां वस्तु श्रेष्ठं न किंचन विद्यते विधिरुपहतः कुर्यान्नो यत्क्षणेन कलङ्कितम् ॥ ४२ ॥

bhuvanabhavanaprākāre'drau niśākaramerukaṃ parivikasitaṃ mītaṃ bhāsā malālirupāśritaḥtadiha jagatāṃ vastu śreṣṭhaṃ na kiṃcana vidyate vidhirupahataḥ kuryānno yatkṣaṇena kalaṅkitam || 42 ||

In the palace of the world, the moon-mountain is fully bloomed and measured by its light, supported by the garland of rays. Here, there is nothing superior in the world, the fate is disturbed, it cannot make anything blemished in an instant.

विश्व के महल में, चंद्रमा-पर्वत पूरी तरह से खिला हुआ और अपने प्रकाश से मापा गया है, किरणों की माला से समर्थित है। यहाँ, दुनिया में कुछ भी श्रेष्ठ नहीं है, भाग्य विचलित है, यह किसी चीज को एक पल में दागदार नहीं बना सकता।

त्रिभुवनहराट्टहासो भुवनमहाभवन एष मङ्कोलःक्षीरसलिलावपूरो गगनाब्धेश्चान्द्र आलोकः ॥ ४३ ॥

tribhuvanaharāṭṭahāso bhuvanamahābhavana eṣa maṅkolaḥkṣīrasalilāvapūro gaganābdheścāndra ālokaḥ || 43 ||

The laughter of the lord of the three worlds, this great palace of the world is splendid, filled with the nectar of water, the moonlight in the sky.

तीनों लोकों के स्वामी का हास्य, यह विश्व का महान महल शानदार है, जल के अमृत से भरा हुआ, आकाश में चंद्रमा का प्रकाश।

spṛṣṭapradoṣamayamandaramathyamānacandrārṇavollasitadugdhataraṅgabhaṅgaiḥpaśya prabhāpaṭalakaiḥ paripūritāṅgīḥ pūrairivograsaritaḥ prasaradbhirāśāḥ || 44 ||

See the waves of the ocean of the moon, churned by the slow movement of the evening, breaking the milky waves, filled with layers of light, like rivers flowing with hope.

देखो चंद्रमा के समुद्र की लहरें, संध्या के धीमे चलने से मथी हुई, दूधिया लहरों को तोड़ती हुई, प्रकाश की परतों से भरी हुई, आशाओं से भरी नदियों के समान।

एते पतन्त्यतुल तालकराललोलवेतालवालवलिता निशि गुह्यकौघाःहूणेश्वरस्य नगराणि निरस्तशान्ति स्वस्तिश्रवादिविकलानि बलेन भोक्तुम् ॥ ४५ ॥

ete patantyatula tālakarālalolavetālavālavalitā niśi guhyakaughāḥhūṇeśvarasya nagarāṇi nirastaśānti svastiśravādivikalāni balena bhoktum || 45 ||

These unique, terrible, swaying ghosts fall at night, the cities of the lord of the Huns, disturbed peace, auspicious sounds, and other distortions, to be enjoyed with strength.

ये अनोखे, भयानक, झूलते हुए भूत रात में गिरते हैं, हूणों के स्वामी के शहर, शांति भंग हुई, शुभ ध्वनियाँ, और अन्य विकृतियाँ, बल से भोगने के लिए।

तावद्विभाति गगने परिपूर्णचन्द्रो यावद्वधूवदनमेति न सद्म बाह्यम्। अभ्युद्गतेऽङ्गणनभस्यबलाननेन्दाविन्दोः सिताभ्रशकलस्य च को विशेषः ॥ ४६ ॥

tāvadvibhāti gagane paripūrṇacandro yāvadvadhūvadanameti na sadma bāhyam| abhyudgate'ṅgaṇanabhasyabalānanendāvindoḥ sitābhraśakalasya ca ko viśeṣaḥ || 46 ||

As long as the full moon shines in the sky, the bride's face does not appear outside the house. When the moon and the white cloud rise in the courtyard sky, what is the difference between them?

जब तक पूर्ण चन्द्रमा आकाश में चमकता है, दुल्हन का चेहरा घर से बाहर नहीं आता| जब चन्द्रमा और सफेद बादल आँगन के आकाश में उठते हैं, तो उनमें क्या अंतर है?

वृद्धानि चन्द्रांशुनवाम्बराणि गङ्गौघनिर्धूतशिलान्यमूनि। हिमाततान्युग्रलताजटानि तुषारशैलेश्वरमस्तकानि ॥ ४७ ॥

vṛddhāni candrāṃśunavāmbarāṇi gaṅgaughanirdhūtaśilānyamūni| himātatānyugralatājaṭāni tuṣāraśaileśvaramastakāni || 47 ||

The old moonbeams, like new garments, are washed away by the dense waves of the Ganges. The snow-covered peaks, adorned with fierce creepers, are the heads of the lord of the snowy mountains.

पुराने चन्द्रमा की किरणें, नए वस्त्रों की तरह, गंगा की घनी लहरों द्वारा धो दी जाती हैं| बर्फ से ढके शिखर, भयानक लताओं से सजे हुए, बर्फीले पर्वतों के स्वामी के सिर हैं|

स एष मन्दारवनावतंसो दोलाप्सरोगेयविसारिवातः। क्वचिन्मणिद्योतविचित्रचित्रः संदृश्यते व्योमनि मन्दराद्रिः ॥ ४८ ॥

sa eṣa mandāravanaāvataṃso dolāpsarogejavisārivātaḥ| kvacinmaṇidyotavicitracitraḥ saṃdṛśyate vyomani mandarādriḥ || 48 ||

This is the Mandara mountain, adorned with Mandara forests, with winds blowing from the swinging celestial nymphs. Sometimes it appears in the sky, adorned with various shining gems.

यह मन्दार पर्वत है, जो मन्दार वनों से सजा हुआ है, झूलती हुई अप्सराओं से उठती हवाओं से भरा हुआ| कभी-कभी यह आकाश में दिखाई देता है, विविध चमकीले रत्नों से सजा हुआ|

प्रोन्निद्रनीरन्ध्रशिलीन्ध्रसान्द्रपुष्पार्घ्यपात्रध्रमहामहीध्राः। सान्द्राभ्रनिर्हादगभीरकुक्षौ सर्क्षान्तरिक्षश्रियमुद्वहन्ति ॥ ४९ ॥

pronnidranīrandhraśilīndhrasāndrapuṣpārghyapātradhramahāmahīdhrāḥ| sāndrābhra nirhādagabhīrakukṣau sarkṣāntarikṣaśriyamudvahanti || 49 ||

The awakened, cave-dwelling, rock-loving, dense flower-offering vessels, the great and magnificent, carry the glory of the sky with dense clouds and deep spaces.

जागृत, गुफा में रहने वाले, पत्थरों को प्यार करने वाले, घने फूलों की आहुति पात्र, महान और विराट, घने बादलों और गहरे स्थानों के साथ आकाश की शोभा को धारण करते हैं|

इतः स कैलासगिरिर्गरीयसा प्रभाप्रवाहेण मितेन यस्य खम्। शंभोरिवाभाति सुतस्य कुट्टिमं चन्द्रोऽपि च क्षीरसमुद्रगो यथा ॥ ५० ॥

itaḥ sa kailāsagirirgarīyasā prabhāpravāheṇa mitena yasya kham| śambhorivābhāti sutasya kuṭṭimaṃ candro'pi ca kṣīrasamudrago yathā || 50 ||

From here, that Kailasa mountain shines brightly with its measured flow of radiance, as if it were the crown of Shambhu's son. Even the moon, which arises from the ocean of milk, shines like this.

इससे, वह कैलास पर्वत अपने मापे गये प्रकाश प्रवाह के साथ चमकता है, मानो यह शंभु के पुत्र का मुकुट हो| चाँद भी, जो दूध के समुद्र से उठता है, ऐसे ही चमकता है|

स्थाणूनां छिन्नशाखानां मृन्मयानां च वासवः। संधत्ते पश्य दूराणां वातैर्मुक्तशिखा इव ॥ ५१ ॥

sthāṇūnāṃ chinnashākhānāṃ mṛnmayānāṃ ca vāsavaḥ| sandhatte paśya dūrāṇāṃ vātairmuktaśikhā iva || 51 ||

The wind, like the lord of the gods, joins the broken branches and earthen pots, and from afar, it seems as if the flames are released by the wind.

वायु, देवराज की तरह, टूटे हुए पेड़ों और मिट्टी के बरतनों को जोड़ती है, और दूर से ऐसा लगता है कि वायु से जलती हुई लपटें छूट रही हैं।

ete kadambakulakundasugandhivātā limpanti māṃsalatayā makarandavṛṣṭeḥ| ghrāṇaṃ ghanaiḥ parimalairalijālanīlā vyāloḍya meghapaṭalaiḥ khamivābhrakeyāḥ || 53 ||

These fragrant winds, carrying the scent of kadamba and kunda flowers, moisten the air with the sweetness of honeydew, filling the nostrils with dense fragrances, and the sky appears as if covered with dark clouds.

ये सुगन्धित वायुएं, कदम्ब और कुंद फूलों की खुशबू लेकर, मधु की वर्षा से वातावरण को गीला करती हैं, नाक में घनी सुगन्ध भरती हैं, और आकाश ऐसा लगता है जैसे काले बादलों से ढका हुआ हो।

वातायनागतलतावृतसौधकोशकोशातकीकुसुमकेसरमाहरद्भिः। आगुल्फकीर्णमुकुलाजिर एष वातैग्रामो विभाति नगरं वनदेवतानाम् ॥ ५४ ॥

vātāyanāgatlatāvṛtasaudhakośakosātakīkusumakesaramāharadbhiḥ| āgulphakīrṇamukulājira eṣa vātaigrāmo vibhāti nagaraṃ vanadevatānām || 54 ||

This village, adorned with flowers and buds, shines with the fragrance of the wind carrying the scent of flowers and buds, as if it were a city of forest deities.

यह गाँव, फूलों और कलियों से सजा हुआ, वायु की सुगन्ध से महक रहा है, जिसमें फूलों और कलियों की सुगन्ध है, जैसे यह वनदेवताओं का नगर हो।

उन्निद्रामलचम्पकद्रुमलतादोलाविलोलाङ्गनाः कूजन्निर्झरवारयः परिसरप्रोन्निद्रतालद्रुमाः। उत्फुल्लोज्ज्वलमंजरीसितलतागेहोल्लसद्बर्हिणः पर्यन्तोन्नतसाललम्बजलदा रम्या गिरिग्रामकाः ॥ ५५ ॥

unnidrāmalacampakadrumalatādolāvilolāṅganāḥ kūjannirjharavārayaḥ parisarapronnidratāladrumāḥ| utphullojjvalamañjarīsitalatāgehollasadbarhiṇaḥ paryantonnaṭasālalambajaladā ramyā girigrāmakāḥ || 55 ||

The charming mountain villages are adorned with swaying champaka trees, resounding with the hum of bees, and the chirping of birds, with tall sal trees and sparkling peacocks, making the scene enchanting.

ये मनोहारी पहाड़ी गाँव हल्की हवा में हिलते हुए चम्पा के पेड़ों से सजे हुए हैं, भौंरों की भनभनाहट और पक्षियों की चहचहाहट से गूँजते हैं, ऊँचे साल के पेड़ों और चमकीले मोरों से सजे हुए हैं, जिससे दृश्य मनोहारी हो जाता है।

वातालोलविचित्रपत्रलतिकासंपूर्णनीलस्थलाः कूजल्लावककोककुक्कुटघटागायत्पुलिन्दाङ्गनाः। बालाव्याकुलतर्णका दधिमधुक्षीराज्यपानोज्ज्वलाः कस्येवामृतमण्डपा विरचिता रम्या गिरिग्रामकाः ॥ ५६ ॥

vātālolavicitrapatralatikāsaṃpūrṇanīlasthalāḥ kūjallāvakakokakukkuṭaghaṭāgāyatpulindāṅganāḥ| bālāvyākulatarṇakā dadhimadhukṣīrājyapānojjvalāḥ kasyevāmṛtamaṇḍapā viracitā ramyā girigrāmakāḥ || 56 ||

These charming mountain villages, adorned with various leaves swaying in the wind, are filled with the melodious songs of birds and the chirping of crickets, with children eagerly enjoying curd, honey, milk, and ghee, as if they are heavenly abodes.

ये मनोहारी पहाड़ी गाँव, हवा में हिलते हुए विभिन्न पत्तों से सजे हुए हैं, पक्षियों की मधुर ध्वनि और टिड्डों की चहचहाहट से भरे हुए हैं, बच्चे उत्सुकता से दही, मधु, दूध और घी का आनंद ले रहे हैं, जैसे ये स्वर्गीय आश्रय हों।
